Day 70: TURQUIOSE WATERS 🏖🇵🇭 I have yet to see a beach with water more blue and sand more white than here in Calaguas!
Though I've seen different maaany a beaches in my travels, it's pretty hard to top what we have in our own backyard 🕵️♂️🙌💙
When I was ten years old my family and I moved to New Zealand and called it our home. As I grew up, I held on strongly to my Filipino values and at the same time, assimilated into the Kiwi culture. The greatest challenge growing up in another country is finding your true identity. For a long time, I have struggled with that: Do I consider myself as a Filipino or a New Zealander? Having spent almost half of my life in the Philippines and the remaining half here in New Zealand, the experience eventually formed me to the person that I am today and found my true identity. I shouldn’t have to pick one or the other. I am proudly a Filipino-Kiwi, born in the pearl of the orient seas and raised in the long white cloud.
I used this newfound confidence and entered Miss Universe New Zealand. It was a dream that I would never think that I’d be able to cross off my list. Be proud of who you are and what you stand for. Do not be ashamed of your roots and embrace them.
Growing up in a third world country, I knew true meaning of hardship and appreciated all the little blessings we had in our new home. We are so blessed to be living in New Zealand, an amazing country with amazing opportunities, and I want to be able to share this blessing to other people. Having seen first-hand what true poverty is, it drives me to work harder and aim higher to be able to help those who are less fortunate, especially the children. My greatest dream in life is to be able to start a business empire for the sole purpose of giving back to my birth country. No matter where life takes you, don’t forget where you came from.
I am a proud Filipino-Kiwi, and I am incredibly blessed to be able to call Philippines and New Zealand my home. #GlobalFilipino
Handa nga ba ang ating mga bulsa kung tayo ay dalawin ng malubhang sakit?
Ayon sa pagaaral, ang pagkakaroon ng malubhang sakit ay isa sa mga rason kung bakit naghihirap ang isang pamilya. “Getting an insurance is not an option, it is a must” ito ay tinatawag na RISK MANAGEMENT.

A lot of people ask me where I work, well I could work from anywhere in the world really as long as there's internet ⛵💻
I could work fully-clothed or in my birthday suit if I wanted to, or just like in this pic while on a beachfront while sipping coffee - sending Friday vibes! ☕
Flashback to the #pinoy fiesta that was held in the Philippine embassy. I don't see many other #Filipinos in #jakarta and so was delighted to join this event! Thanks to @wattagudlyfe for the info. 😁
#fiesta means party or #celebration and that was certainly the mood in the event. #kiddos were #happy to hunt for #games and they each got a prize. Lots of Filipino food were available but the kids chose to eat pizza instead. 😂
We really enjoyed this event and hope to #connect with more #pinoysinJakarta ! I hope I can share my cultural heritage more with the kids.
Anyhow, I'm hunting for more kids-friendly embassy activities as it is such a #fun way to introduce different countries and cultures to the children. Please share if you have any info. 😁
Event Pinoy Fiesta di Kedubes Filipin Jakarta. Senang banget bisa ketemu sama orang Filipin yang juga tinggal di Jakarta. 😊
#anakanak happy banget #bermain games dan tambah senang ketika dapet hadiah. Ada banyak makanan khas filipin disitu tapi Big M dan Little M malah pilih makan pizza. 😂
Big M dan Little M hampir gak kenal budaya Filipin jadi sayang banget soalnya itu negara asal Jakarta Mommy. But, we're working on it.
