You know what I don’t eat? Rice and beans and sometimes I even eat at a restaurant. This is why I consider myself @daveramsey light. I don’t follow his advice perfectly and I enjoy eating out.
But I love a good deal! ⬇️ are 4 tips to save money on your restaurant bill.
1️⃣A lot of restaurants now charge $3+ for a soda. Why?! Skip the soda and go for water.
2️⃣I love using coupons, reward points, discounted gift cards from @raise and @groupon when I eat out. I can easily knock 20% off my bill.
3️⃣and 4️⃣If you’ve travelled outside of the US you know how huge our portions are compared to other countries. Save some money by ordering an appetizer, splitting your meal or taking half home for a second meal.
It’s Friday and you know what that means? Grocery shopping!
I grocery shop every other week and make a meal plan that last two weeks. On my off week, I run into the store for fresh produce, typically strawberries. I have to, strawberries and cool whip, I’m addicted.
I may not love @daveramsey rice and beans, but there’s plenty of budget meals that taste great!
@pinterest really ruined us with their awesome photos of gourmet meals. Ignore Pinterest, do what’s best for you and your family and that doesn’t include a fancy meals lot of the time. It’s stressful, expensive and time consuming.
I love @traderjoes tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, can you get anymore basic? Nope and it takes less than 5 minutes to make. Easy on the wallet and schedule.
Eggs. You can buy a dozen eggs for $1. A dollar. And tell me an egg scrambled isn’t so much better than rice and beans 😂
We gotta change the culture y’all, I’m not knocking a 9-5 especially since I have one but lord knows I’m hustling for the day I no longer need one and we have to support each other when we do......💯
I’ve seen several posts about this topic earlier in the week.
The reality is there’s a lot of women who will never marry. So don’t wait around for your life to start.
I know so many women who say, “when I get married I’ll start to save for retirement.” Or, “I can’t afford to do that, maybe after I get married.” That may not be in the cards for you and you will have wasted years of your life, don’t plan your life around maybe. Set goals and create the life you want, and that includes financial security.
SATURDAY $EN$E--Looking for the perfect gift for yourself? Start an emergency fund. Over 60% of Americans can't afford a $1,000 unexpected expense without going into some form of debt. You don't need to fund it all at once but you need to start. Now.
1) Put the money in a separate account so you won't be tempted to spend it.
2) Make sure the account is easily accessible. This is not the place to invest your money in Risky or hard to liquidate funds.
3) Even if it's a small amount, keep adding to your account on a regular basis. Bonus points for automatic deposits!
You got into debt over time so getting out of debt will not happen over night. Don’t be so hard on yourself and keep making progress towards your goals! Learn to grow and transform and remember to enjoy the journey ♥️⠀
Note to the aspiring entrepreneurs: Creating something special takes time. Stay patient, trust the process, and keep going! The city of Atlanta wasn’t always what you see today, it took time, sacrifice, and patience for it to grow. Now, this city is unstoppable! Nothing worth having comes easily.

Sometimes we try and avoid what we’re scared of which is completely understandable. It’s an evolutionary instinct, how else could the human race have survived thus far?
Sometimes, though, stepping closer to that which we are afraid of won’t hurt us, but in fact will help us grow. We have to face what we’re afraid of in order to progress. We’ve got to look at our bills and bank accounts right in the eyes and say, “Hey you, no matter how stressed you make me, how ashamed I am of you, how scared I am of you, I got you.” Oh, and don’t worry, we won’t think you’re a crazy person if we catch you talking to your bills and bank account.
Join me and @well.spent for a FREE online event where I will be exploring common money disorders and how to get through them. We will also be talking about the “why of the buy,” the subconscious belief systems that hijack our rational minds and influence our behaviours, as well as some real tools that can lead to lasting shifts.
⭐⭐November No-spend week 2⭐⭐ Week 2 was going really well and then.... 😻 CATS!
We have two cats, in a little over 2 months they have managed to chew up over 5 pairs of headphones. Including the brand new pair my fiance just bought in October. So long story short, he bought me the upgraded wireless headphones 😍 and purchased the protection plan in case it happens again. Otherwise he would have come under budget at $9!!! Understanding by $41. 💰

I made couple decision to change my life completely even knowing it would affect my parents.
1. To never be an employee . To be a Boss and do the things I love everyday and to follow my passion
2. Drop out of my MBA program even knowing it would affect my parents because they always wanted me to work for the government.
I became the man I am today because deep down I discover my capabilities in this world was to help inspire, motivate and bring the best out of people.
I run a staffing business of about 40-50 employee and help people get a job rather than wasting their time doing nothing .
I started teaching private session about financial education and trading strategies because I understand there a lack of education especially for young generation that are struggling in this world.
In school we are taught bullshit information and fillers to distract us from the reality. We are never taught about money, how it works, how to leverage, protect , preserve and to increase multiple folds.
I’m grateful to have already about 10 clients within 3 weeks and will always strive excellence in really taking the time to mentor and educated people around the world.
This is absolutely true for me. •
If you struggle with this, you must set small, attainable goals which add up to what you wanted to achieve in your largely unrealistic goal. Chip away at your goals every single day.

Don’t just guess when it comes to planning. Knowing if you are on track for your desired outcome is possible and essential to maintaining discipline in your financial plan. Eliminate the worry and guessing. Live financially worry free.
Some bills are inevitable. Even if decide not to have cable, you likely have internet. Some of us have three or four different insurances. There’s security systems on your homes and we all have phone bills. We often get used to paying the bills as directed without challenging the companies on the prices that we pay. Take a moment and make a list of all the companies you give money to alongside their phone number. Then give them a call. Ask them to verify if you are receiving ALL possible promotions and if you qualify for a reduced rate. You may need to do some research on competitors prior to making the call to use as a negotiation tactic. If you encounter a no, ask to speak to a supervisor. Always remain professional, kind and patient, no one wants to help anyone who acts otherwise. If you were unable to get a discount make a note and call again next month. Often times, the discount will come even if it’s just $5.00 off a month, that could be additional money in your savings. When you’re done, tag a friend on this post challenging them to do the same. #savingsgoal#savemoney#budget#budgetfriendly#discounts#promotions#paybills#payingbills#savingmoney#getmoney#budgetgoals#money#financialwin#finances#fiya#personalfinance#financialliteracy#financialindependence#financialadvisor#financememes#financialfreedom
