If you’re anything like me, then you might have a difficult time staying motivated to work out or eat healthy especially when your days are already jam packed!! As a full time accountant, I typically work long hours and right now during busy season it gets even more insane. This time of year I always find it so much harder to stay on top of my health. I’m still nowhere near perfect when it comes to working out or eating healthy, but I’ve found one thing that always seems to help me stick to my fitness goals: Planning ahead! 🙌🏼 This has helped so much on days where I have ton going on. I’ve noticed I’m much more motivated to work out in the morning when I have everything planned, from exactly what workout I’ll be doing all the way down to the clothes I’ll workout in. And it’s even better if I have a killer workout set. Look good, feel good, work good, play good, am I right?! 💪🏼 The same goes for the food I’m going to eat that day. It’s much easier to choose a healthy dinner when I’ve planned ahead of time exactly what we’ll have. I can’t tell you the number of times @kcbarnes2 and I haven’t planned ahead and then ended up eating Taco Bell because it was fast and easy. 🤦♀️ Bottom line is the better we plan, the more likely we are to create time for our health and make it happen! 💜 I’d love to hear your thoughts below! Do you plan your workouts/meals or do you like winging it?
I may be the PIZZAQUEEN, but I love me some doughnuts. Who am I kidding? I love food in general 😂😂
My kids and I do Doughnut Sunday every single week. Regardless of my diet situation I enjoy a doughnut with my family. It’s not about calories, it’s about our family tradition! I can fit a doughnut into my macros easily. Especially on a Sunday, it’s my rest day so I don’t feel as hungry since I don’t workout. .
Does this restriction-free style of eating sound pretty good? Once I lost the guilt and stopped labeling food as good or bad my life totally changed. I eat nutrient dense food 90% of the time, but if I want something I will eat it and not feel guilty. I just fit it into my plan depending on my goals. .
Restrictive dieting takes a toll on people and most can’t adhere to it for too long which leads to binging. The goal should be something sustainable for the long term, not a quick fix diet.
I teach this philosophy to my nutrition clients and we find a way that works for them, as an individual. I don’t write out meal plans because honestly who wants someone telling them exactly what and when to eat?? It’s all about lifestyle changes for YOUR lifestyle. .
Towel from @moveofitco (it’s dual sided, one side cooling and the other microfiber) use code PIZZAQUEEN !!
