You know in order to lose weight you need to eat less; so DO IT
You know in order to lose weight/build lean muscle you need to work out; so DO IT
You know in order to achieve your goal you need to work towards it; SO DO IT

Yes, it really is that simple, your just stuck in your own head, there is not one person on this planet that can help you but yourself, if you think you don’t know how to approach it, figure it out, use your brain and look it up AND LEARN, you are capable of ANYTHING you put your mind to

If your mindset isn’t there, you will never grow or learn, you will never be able to sustain a healthier lifestyle for yourself if it doesn’t work for you & how is anybody else going to tell you what works for you...

I get asked all the time how I got to this point & the answer is consistency of all those things YOU KNOW HOW TO DO

The only way to get anywhere in life is consistency, but the path to get there is NEVER consistent & pushing past those inconsistencies is how ya get out of ur own damn head!! SO push yourself and do the damn thing you have always wanted to do!!!

  • Ik had het té DRUK met niet naar de gym gaan de afgelopen weken. Mijn PRIORITEITEN lagen ergens anders. Namelijk bij een deadline van school, paar dagen naar Ierland, mijn sociale leven, paar dagen naar Engeland en even bij werk (want met nachtdiensten doe ik niet meer dan werken, eten en slapen). Prima. Niets mis mee. Zolang je maar gelukkig bent met wat je doet. Zeker. Alleen de gewoonte van niet sporten sloop erin én daar word ik niet gelukkig van. Sport is mijn ontspanning, afleiding en mijn hobby. Nog niet helemaal 'back on track' na een paar weten niet te zijn geweest, maar het begin is er 🙌🏻 •

Buffalo Chicken with Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges⁣

The Garlic Parmesan potato wedges in this dish are the real winner. When you crisp them up in the oven and cook them to the perfect amount, they are for sure the star of the show. The difference between the two meals in this picture has a lot to do with the potatoes. ⁣

In the weight loss meal there is about 1/2 of a potato and in the weight gain post there is a little over a whole potato. Potatoes get a bad reputation that isn’t deserved. People associate potatoes with French Fries and French Fries = bad. Firstly, French Fries made in fast food restaurants are deep fried in old oil that has had the chance to be oxidized. ⁣
⁣
They are also heavily processed and mechanically produced. Whole potatoes are high in vitamin c and other nutrients when you leave the skin on. The problem with potatoes comes when you doctor them up so much that they are unnoticeable and overeat them. The potato wedges in this meal are certainly flavored and changed to make them more palatable but with meal prep, you can control your portion sizes!!⁣

The weight gain side also has half the vegetables and a little bit more chicken. My containers are 28oz and I find this volume of food to be about right for me. For weight loss this means a lot of the volume has to be taken up with broccoli. You certainly don’t have to fill the container but it makes an aesthetically pleasing looking meal and may make you fuller. If you wanted to increase the calorie content of the weight gain side you can swap the chicken breasts for chicken thighs 😇😇⁣
