The sense of achievement that you have right now is overwhelming, no one can take this away from you... no one.

You’ve achieved a lot in the past few weeks in a pretty heavy calorie deficit. Like yesterday... strength gains/pb’s on leg day and backing it up with a 12km run... you’re unstoppable!
.
Standing here on the doorstep of Season B, what you have achieved so far is incredible, the discipline and dedication has been paying off. There is only so much that you can control from here and whatever happens, happens.
.
At the end of the day, plastic trophies are just cherries on top. You can walk away from this experience with your head held high whatever the outcomes of competition. You always say you compete against yourself to be #BetterEveryDay ... and the fact is, you’ve already won champ... remember that.
.
I know it’s all over for you now, I’m still here fkn grinding my ass off, but look back and smile and remember just how overwhelmed and accomplished you were feeling at this point in time after this run. You should be fkn proud of yourself kid, because right now you couldn’t be happier!!!

PS: I hope you’ve already slammed a @bens_burgers and some Peanut Butter Cups because you’ve been craving them for months now 😊🍔✌🏽 .

  • 21DF Fun Friday in the books!

Today was the only day this week I could actually drag myself out of bed to work out in the morning bc of the dreaded time change.
I’ve been getting it done in the evenings which normally this time of year I wouldn’t be able to do bc I’m running from one field to the other.
.
This is one reason I like having this app. 
1. I can workout anytime (I prefer mornings bc  then I know I’m done for the day)
2. I can do it anywhere. Living room, garage, hotel, gym, the park...seriously where ever.
3. My adhd likes to have a program to follow but times like this week where my plantar fasciitis acts up I can totally change it up.

Listen, we all have busy lives. 
Whether you’re busy with little ones (you’ll be busy when they’re bigger ones), or go to school full time, work full time- whatever, we’re all busy. Whether you like to work out at 4am, 4pm or even 10pm- you can get this done any time. Any where. Weights, dancing, insanity, yoga, whatever- just do it, and do it for your sanity.

  • I really need to start making looking after my asthma more of a priority. This morning I had to cut my cardio short as my chest felt tight and my breathing just wasn’t working the way it should be. My lungs felt mucusy and I don’t want to push myself too much. The main thing is I still got on the treadmill and exercised

  • Just crushed my workout, and even though I didn’t shatter any personal records... it was an amazing session. It felt good, I worked up a sweat, and burned some calories... it was beautiful! Oh yeah, nothing like some early Mötley Crüe to get you pumped up. Idk about you guys, but I’m ready for that movie to hit Netflix! 🙂

I’m still fasting, thinking about going OMAD today as well. I feel great, not even hungry. Drinking some ice water with Himalayan Pink Salt, right now. I need to fix some more green tea to chill, as well. Been trying to increase that, here lately.

  • Ever have one of those days where the day completely gets away from you? Yeah, that was me this afternoon. I’m just now cooling off, after a great workout. I ended up breaking my fast early (14 hrs) this morning, had a big breakfast and snacked on some pickles and pepperoni around noon.

I haven’t had anything since 12:30 this afternoon and feel really good. I’m not even hungry, so I decided to start fasting since then. This will definitely make tomorrow’s fast a lot easier. Who knows, I may even extend it. I ordered a couple more resistance bands, since I had a couple starting to crack. I had to remove one last week, it was really bad, that would’ve snapped within a day or two, for sure. -

  • Decided to take yesterday off, and go for today instead. Definitely a great idea, the workout was a great one and a sweaty one for that matter. I think I know why there’s a difference between my Polar and my Apple Watch, and it definitely makes a lot more sense.

The Polar tracks your full workout data, where the Apple Watch records only certain data when active. So yeah, if you’re not working out hard enough, the watch won’t recognize it. For example, I do sit-ups in an exercise ball, and the watch doesn’t recognize that. That means if I want to close my workout ring, I have to go a few extra minutes. This usually ends up being an extra 1-5 minutes (that definitely explains some of my previous workouts).

Anyhow, I’m still fasting... I’ll probably keep going since I’m not hungry. I’m still going strong with my meditation, I did drop it down a bit in time. -

  • Workout is in the books, Yeah! It felt great, and I decided to stick with 30 minutes. I noticed that my data was completely off, between my watch and HRM. My HRM shows 30 minutes, where the watch shows 21 minutes. I’m almost ready to take my watch off and just work out with my HRM, for a week. Then switch to my watch for a week and compare data. I feel like I’m being robbed of burned calories.

I’ve been getting back into my meditation sessions, as well. I started that back up yesterday, hopefully I can keep that going. I tested my keytones, this morning and they were low. Not really surprised, I’m guessing they’ll be much better tomorrow. I had an early dinner and went OMAD, yesterday. I’m currently 20 hrs in my fast. Not sure when I’ll break that, just yet. To be honest, I’m not really hungry at the moment.
