  • What is HEALTH & WELLNESS? 🌿🌸🌛 The health & wellness industry is absolutely BOOMING right now. Why now? Why more so than 5, 10, 15 years ago?? Because now, more so than ever, people are truly interested in being healthy, feeling good, being ‘fit’. But what IS health & wellness? What does it look like? What does it feel like?

There is a reason why there are so many diets out there, and a reason for why they do not work for you. There are so so many ways to ‘lose fat’, ‘tone up’, ‘bulk’, ‘30 pounds in 30 days’. BUT THESE DONT WORK!!!! You are not like everyone else. Your body is not the same as hers. Your needs are not the same needs as everyone else’s.

So to answer the question.... Health & Wellness looks completely different from person to person. It’s feels different from person to person. You cannot draw out health & wellness to fit every single person. We are all so different, and what may work for someone May not work for you. And what works for you, may not work for somebody else.

So the next time you see the ads and all those diet plans, think about the last one you tried, and the one before that, and remember that your body is YOURS and it works for you. It does not work the same for everyone else, and that’s what makes it so wonderful ❤️ •

  • If you’re struggling with forgiving yourself, this one’s for you 💌

Over this past week I enjoyed myself while traveling. I am ALL about balance and learning how to fit things into your lifestyle in moderation.
-
But my body is also extremely sensitive to two things: high carbs & sugars and it does NOT agree with my body. Yesterday I felt as if I weighed 20lbs heavier than normal. I was bloated, inflamed and felt super gross💩

Nothing is more frustrating than feeling like your body is completely off track. Its easy to just throw the towel in when you’re feeling discouraged. But here’s the thing you have to remember, you didn’t lose the weight in a day, so you’re not going to completely derail all your hard work in just 1 days either.⏳

So what did I do to get back on track!?!?
Just got back to my regular routine.

*Drank a ton of water
*Did my normal 30minute workout
*Ate REAL food and cut out anything processed
*Most importantly-practiced self love + came up with a game plan on how Im going to do better

Beating yourself up will only take you further away from your goals.If you slipped and had a cookie don’t call it quits and continue to eat the whole box! Acknowledge the slip up & move right along sister!

Remember this: longing to change something about yourself should never come from hate, but instead come from a deep love for yourself. You’re doing this journey for YOU & nobody else🤘🏼

  • If it doesnt challenge you It doesnt change you. Starting a fitness journey is always challenging in the beginning but you have to be willing to go through the motions the good, bad, the ugly. It not only empowers you but it also helps you uncover your inner truths and mental blocks on your fitness journey.   • Nice reminder last night on a zoom call from the main man himself @joelfreemanfitness why the programme I’ve done twice and am currently doing is so amazing. I hadn’t lifted weights my whole life until now, always saying that wasn’t me, I don’t want to have ‘that much’ definition. What I was totally missing was, what lifting weights combined with cardio would do to my body composition. I LOVE this programme, it’s part of my life now and I can’t imagine going too long without it being right by my side. .
The photo was from the Indy summit last year, I was way out of my comfort zone! The pic is the team meeting Joel on the first day. Feeling thankful for bringing the change into my life. Thank you 🙏 @joelfreemanfitness @intufitness_buildyourbiz
