  • Nobody wants to think about flabby arms at my age.  Back in the day we could wear shoulder pads to lift the shoulder and give the appearance of a slim.  So, ya-- shoulder pads are a no-go now days.
 We don't need to get depressed about it; let's beat it (rebel)! So, go find something at 3 to 5 lbs and mark your calendar 3 times.  Each of those times (that you diligently marked your calendar)  do three sets of 12 shoulder presses. 
You can do them before work, after work, at work, in the closet---on and on.  Yes that book just came to mind. Bottom line; a little grit, and you can replace those old shoulder pads with you! Did you find your calendar? #shoulderworkout #shouldertoshoulder

FAVORITE PSF FORMAT:
This is literally almost impossible...
Cycle trx challenge/box n sculpt/circuit sculpt. I love the combination class with cycling and trx bc you get this bad ass cardio burn, followed by suspension training like a bad ass and you crush it. Boxing makes you feel like a warrior, and Circuit sculpt makes you feel like an Olympic athlete.

WHY I LOVE PSF:
PSF is a community where these superhero humans come and fight like true warriors to achieve the results they want. They fight hard in their workouts and really take control of their mind, body, and souls. I personally lost 25 pounds and toned my ass off by taking these classes. PSF has offered me a better way of life in every form. Our founder, Heather Hughes, is the definition of a supreme human. She’s truly my idol; she created a studio that is actually the TOUGHEST and FIERCEST in Chicago—and that’s no bull. Plus, she’s my coach from high school, i got mad love for my second home 💯

WHERE CAN YOU FIND ME WHEN I’m NOT AT PSF:
You can find me snuggling my two needy mcpups, creating/writing for my comedic lifestyle website, standing on my tippiest toes at all the concerts, going on bike rides with my dad (while i secretly video him) and of course, EATING. I love to cook food, especially all sorts of breakfast skillet bowls-plus anything inspired by Sara Haas😋

  • One of things I enjoy most in going to fitness conferences is the people I get to meet. You never know when you will connect with someone and when you can see the lightbulb go off that is the best part! That’s what happened as I met #fitnesspro @peretzthetrainer last year at a @perform_better summit. After my presentation he had all types of great questions and I could see the wheels turning. Fast forward to almost a year and it’s been awesome to see how Peretz has been using our #DVRT system to create better solutions!

➡️ Let’s face it, fitness is NOT an easy industry to make it. So being able to help coaches create better strategies and solutions to help get their clients their #fitnessgoals and fully explore what movement based #strengthtraining is all about makes my day every time!

  • Learn to enjoy every step of the way because each day you are working to be a  better and healthier version of yourself!💪🏼💕 After all, we were not born running... we had to learn how to crawl first, stand on our own, walk and then run! It was a process!! -

When things get hard or you want to give up, don’t give up! Keep pushing and know every step of the way was meant to be!🙌🏼😌
