  • A fantastic Easter Saturday started with our first family park run. With my hip still not great I ran with Elliot who did amazing completing 2km. Seb ran amazing and completed just over 3km. Fantastic atmosphere and encouragement at the run and perfect weather. 
Afterwards we headed to the beach at Ogmore for a bit of sand castle fun and a chill out. The wind was so cold there that we soon headed back home and enjoyed the garden with some pool time, sunbathing and g&t’s 🍸

I love sunny weather but my training and diet have gone out the window. But I’m sure we’ll soon be back to rain and cold and routine soon enough.

  • #kayphotoaday Day 20 | Motivation
My hubby has been such a motivation for me. He has been through all of my ups and downs with me. He's wiped my tears and told me he's loved every part of me even when I felt like I couldn't even bare to love myself. He has loved me at my biggest and through this whole life changing experience. And even though I am not the same women he first fell in love with he has loved me still and grown with me. He is so encouraging and tells me all the time how proud of me he is. He always checks in on me on my weigh in days and celebrates right along with me. He motivates me to just get up and get it done. He encourages me to get out and go for walks and even loves going with me. 
I want to be here for him, on this Earth, for the rest of my life. I want to be there and care for him the way he has cared for me. In order to that I have to care for myself first. I want to be in the best health I can so we can do more with each other. So we can enjoy each other more. And so I can live long enough to take care of him and the children we will eventually have. I just couldn't be the best I could, for me and him, at my heaviest. I could never have been so successful if I didn't have him in my corner with me every step of the way. 
So thank you to the best man a woman could ever ask for. And hopefully he never sees this because he would be so mad at for posting his picture to Instagram. Haha. I love you, Timmy! ♡ •••

I did Day 6 of @daniellepascente 's #stronginspring challenge, Upper Body. I added some additional bicep, back and ab exercises at the end because I felt like doing more today.

We had planned on taking the Rzr out for a drive today, but I'm a slacker and still need to finish my Easter shopping 🙈🐇, so I'll be heading out to do that soon, and we'll go for a drive tomorrow instead 😃.

  • We’re on a little family getaway this weekend and enjoying it to the fullest. This is something that neither my husband or I got to do very much as kids. We want to take the time and effort and plan ahead to take these little getaways for our family. It’s a fun way to bond and relax and get away from the stresses that life can bring.

  • Pretty sure all of my selfies came out blurry af because I was so shaky. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Anywho, I went to a new gym today & LOVED it. Much bigger, way more machines, a pool & a sauna. 👌🏾 (That I forgot to get in after my workout 🤦🏾‍♀️). Today was Biceps & Back 💪🏾 & ended my workout with some treadmill and row machine work. Hope you all have a great weekend aaaand Happy 4/20 💃🏾💨 Lol Balance!
