  • 31 week appointment today 🤰🏼💙 Getting so excited to meet our precious baby boy! 💙😭
His movements are so big & you can just look at my belly and see him moving now. @ares_bond & I played music for him today & he started moving a lot 😍I think he liked it (it was country music by the way) 😉 
I’m experiencing my worst pregnancy symptom now... it’s pretty awkward to mention but if you were ever pregnant you can probably guess what it is 🙈

  • I officially have a new workout partner! The belly has arrived i am working out for two! 😳 I am starting to adjust movements that don’t feel good to me anymore. I do a seated movement whenever i can opposed to standing to take pressure off the core.  Other than a major decline in intensity and longer rests my workouts have stayed pretty much the same, and a shorter (talk about constantly exhausted) Can i just say each pregnancy i show earlier and earlier and i have never felt the need for maternity clothes this early but it is what it is so bring on the maternity clothes! I am doing my best to adjust to this new body and all the changes that come with it and to be honest i am terrible at this part! The mental part kills me.. i just want to be active and workout how i always do but that’s just not going to be the case for a long time so even though this is my 4th go at it it still takes some time getting use to being pregnant! I am a week away from enter the 2nd trimester the best trimester! 🙌🏼 #13weekspregnant #fitpregnancy #fitmoms

We have all had our share of cranky bubbas, poonamis, late starts, early finishes, rocking up in PJs, messy hair, yesterday gym clothes ... One thing is for sure, none of these things makes a difference to us. 
We come together to move our bodies, work up a bit of a sweat, have a chat, and leave feeling amazing. 
No judgement - ever.

  • Once a week I do a HIT Session - mainly bodyweight, which also means + 3,5kg. 🤰 But when I incorporate weights it’s super lightweight for me. Our pelvis is designed to MOVE during childbirth, yet the majority of birthing people today are giving birth on their backs- which actually restricts the pelvis' ability to open up!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Check out 4 positions that allow for SPACE in the outlet (bottom) of the pelvis so that the baby has the most space. These positions also all either work with gravity or are gravity neutral (side lying). Laying on one's back to push is like pushing uphill! Let's get gravity on our side, if possible!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Well, we made it to #33weeks climbing! I'm pretty proud of myself, but the harness is getting a bit uncomfortable, my shoes are a bit tight, and dragging an extra 30lbs up the wall is pretty challenging. I think it's time to temporarily hang up the gear and switch to some nesting. ❤️

  • Currently in bed with a cold so yeah this pregnancy is fun! (Sarcasm. Lol) 🤣😅🤧
Will working out with 3 kids be difficult? Yes of course but am I worried? No!
Where theres a will theres a way. I've done it with a busy schedule, with 1 kid, then with 2! Its part of my schedule and routine. When something becomes part of your routine its habit and you just do it. You don't sit there making excuses like "I'm too tired" or "I'm too busy", "I've got too many other responsibilities". If my day doesn't allow for a child free workout then I add the children as weights! 😂 lol but seriously,
Energy begets energy and our bodies were designed to move! Fitness has helped me in so many ways. Making it a part of my life has been the best thing I needed! Everyone needs it! More stamina, more energy, better mood, less anxiety, and no more constant hunger or bloating from learning how to eat! Its amazing what happens when you make a couple changes to your routine like adding just a 15 minute workout to your day or cutting out too much sugar, adding protein to your meals, whatever it may be that you need. Look after yourself and there will always be benefits! .

It's time for the @werunsf.co quarterly burrito run: time trials where we each predict our time for 5K or 10K. Last time we did this, I was close to 13 weeks pregnant, about to break the news, and still feeling fatigued enough to keep it at a moderate effort tops. Now, as I enter 26 weeks, I took it even easier and slower with only one goal: finish feeling great. Mission accomplished!

It feels weird to not have any race in my immediate future, but I am focusing my brain power now on constructing an ultra-flexible postpartum ramp back plan. That extra weight is making itself known, but my legs are still chugging along. So far so good!

  • Having my baby’s favorite delicious 😋 and nutritious shake 🤤 we’re having banana 🍌 caramel. He loves this shake. We crave it a lot. This shake is filled with 24 grams of protein, 11 grams of carbs, Vitamin A, C, D, E, B6, B12 also calcium, iron, biotin, zinc and so MUCH more! All in my Herbalife shake that taste like pure ice cream 😜😋 can't get any better 😍🤗

Today marks the day of the vernal equinox, we are still in mercury retrograde, there is a super 🌝 Moon tonight in Libra is at zero degrees. We are going to be guided to get to zero with ourselves🙏🏼, and to find that place of wholeness that resides within. This is the last Super Moon in a string of 🌝🌝🌝 that we have had since the start of the year. Under these three Super Moons, we have been encouraged to tune into our intuition, tap into our feminine side, and to purge and release all that is holding us back. We have been preparing for the new chapter that is ahead. March’s Full Moon opens a portal to a new wave of energy🌊. In order to enter into the new, we have to purge and release the old. Again, I’m modifying a few moves here and there. I can’t even tell you what or how because #topsecret but there were a few moves I had to alter just a tad bit. However, it was by no means a waste of a workout even with some minor adjustments to fit my postpartum needs. 🥰⁣⁣⁣

We also NAILED it this morning. @pullingageographic was hard to pull out of bed but we HAVE TO press play as soon as she’s done eating so it’s nothing but giggles our whole workout. It’s more fun for her too when it’s mommy & daddy doing silly things. 🤪⁣

    Again, I’m modifying a few moves here and there. I can’t even tell you what or how because #topsecret but there were a few moves I had to alter just a tad bit. However, it was by no means a waste of a workout even with some minor adjustments to fit my postpartum needs. 🥰⁣⁣⁣

    We also NAILED it this morning. @pullingageographic was hard to pull out of bed but we HAVE TO press play as soon as she’s done eating so it’s nothing but giggles our whole workout. It’s more fun for her too when it’s mommy & daddy doing silly things. 🤪⁣

    These workouts are literally one newborn awake window then she takes a turn to tyrant land. 🙈⁣⁣⁣

  • Pregnancy safe hip thrusts! Proper set up and de-load. First off start seated on the bench vs on the floor. Next you slide your back down the bench until you are resting just below your scapula. Adjust your feet so your knees are greater than a 90 degree bend. The bar should sit across the pubic bone and on the upper thigh vs across the hip bones in a regular hip thrust. Fold at the hips pressing the bar into your legs when you feel pressure on your tummy that is your full fold. Press up hard through the glutes holding the bar on your legs the entire time. Repeat for as many reps necessary. To de-load, in full extension, slide your back all the way onto the bench, use your arms to lift you up into a seated position. To make it more difficult lift your toes up, put all the weight in your heals.
