  • 39 days ago I was wheeled into an operating room because it was finally time to meet you sweet girl.

We were bringing you into this world in the safest way possible, for you and me both. It’s all that mattered to me and while I waited for your dad to get the okay to come sit next to me, I thought about what it would be like to finally hold you.

After 39 weeks of keeping you safe in my belly, I now had to share you with the world. And while carrying you was by far one of the toughest things I’ve had to do, it’s still hard to share you with the world sometimes. But holding you for that first time and seeing your dad bring you over to me, it was the best moment of my life.

I promise to do everything to keep you safe, give you a happy home, help you grow strong and healthy, all while showing you what the big world around you has to offer.

We’re still in this together, even if I do have to share you with the world now.

Nora Grace, it’s always been me and you sweet girl. God knew what He was doing when He made me your mama 💕

  • Bumpdate!⠀
⠀
I don’t know why the color to my feet and leg ratio is so disgustingly off but please excuse that and the lack of pedicure situation I have going on. I’m long overdue for one and am treating myself next week 🤞🏼⠀
⠀
This third trimester has brought a lot of growth. I never would’ve thought I’d begin to fall in love with this bump of mine. That my double chin, jiggly arms, cellulite loaded legs is the new me and I’ve been doing my best to rock the sh!t out of it. That peeing my pants, leaky boobs, insane calf cramps, and everything else in between no longer compares to how much I love this little lady already. What a sacrifice but incredible blessing it is to grow a little human 🤍⠀
⠀
But on a much less serious note- the cravings just keep on coming...⠀
⠀
Mama loves all the cheese in the world, potatoes (still going strong on any form of potatoes since the first trimester), Caesar salads, oranges, bacon gouda sandwiches from Starbucks, soufflés from Panera, and sweet tea have been my jam! ⠀
⠀
Let’s just hope we can cut out like 90% of this pregnancy diet after she arrives 😂 .

  • Last baby bump update 😂😅 Headed to the doctor to my doctor appointment to get things started. We get to go home after and eat and cuddle the dogs before heading into the hospital though! 🙌🏼 it’s like they knew I needed to make sure I ate beforehand because I get seriously hangry 😂

We get to finally meet little miss Sloan maybe tonight but probably tomorrow. Wednesday at the latest!

  • 8 weeks is being lots of excitement as we finally got our first ultrasound. Seeing that tiny baby was the biggest relief ever. So far so good! I‘m still feeling the same, my only real symptom is exhaustion, however I’m starting to wake up every night around 3am and can’t go back to sleep. ⠀
⠀
Our baby’s lungs and respiratory system are forming even more and so are the fingers and toes. So are the reproductive organs which makes it even more anxious to know what this sweet baby is! There’s so much forming and growing even at this small state and it’s just so amazing to me!⠀
⠀
I’m still beyond blessed that God have us this precious gift and I’m going to soak in every single thing that’s involved with this pregnancy!

  • 31 weeks and 3 days and still able to wear non maternity leggings is honestly everything because maternity clothes specifically pants are THE WORST... I got these from @tleggings for FREE and I’m obsessed! Definitely pregnancy friendly, no scam, no joke, no pay a ridiculous amount for shipping, I promise! Check the link in their bio and get yourself a pair! I will definitely be buying more because they are heavenly and not 100 bucks☺️ #tleggings

NO NO NO 🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️
我拒絕❌我唔要咁樣😫😫😫但我又可以點?😞
Actually I always have a choice !
I have to do something to change !

  • 3 days till 39 weeks and have been told to CONTINUE working out! Nothing feels better than to be told by my midwife that exercising has helped with my body’s progress through pregnancy.
Thankfully, we’re over being super sick and contagious and now just have psycho allergies lol. After taking off a week (or two) I am back lifting some weights!
I did a 30-45 min workout (and I deff broke a sweat) and then a 30 minute walk at the dog park.
It felt really good to get those muscles firing .
Here’s what I did.

High cable row 3x12
TRX Pull-ups 3x6 (these were harder than I remembered)
Cable Pull Over 3x12
Underhand High Cable Row 3x12
Kettle Bell Swings 3x12
Squat to overhead press 3x12
Cool down and stretch!
Leggings: @gymshark Power Down Leggings (the perfect maternity leggings tbh)

  • How do you modify core exercises during pregnancy? 🤰🏻
.
I was chatting with a mom last week who asked this question in class. I wish I had an exact answer, but the truth is - it depends 🤷🏼‍♀️ Core exercises can still be performed by pregnant mamas as long as they feel safe and comfortable while doing them. I typically remove traditional "core" exercises like V-ups, Sit-ups, etc. in the second trimester as the belly grows. But, truthfully - there are SO MANY exercises we can do for your core that don't involve crunching (note: Flexion of the spine is still important in general, and is an activity of everyday life. We can’t completely remove it. Just need to adjust our strategy. When a mom gets an epidural it is important she knows how/can get into that position).
.
The goal of any modification we make during pregnancy is to prevent an overload of pressure through the belly, prevent symptoms, and strengthen the muscles of the trunk while maintaining good form 🙌🏼 Below are a few modifications for some go-to core movements. Swipe ➡️ for a demo and explanation of each movement ❤️
.
✅ (ANTI-EXTENSION) Dead bug (First Trimester)➡️Front Plank (Second Trimester) ➡️ Incline front plank (Third Trimester)
.
✅(ANTI-ROTATION) Shoulder Tap (First Trimester) ➡️ Tall-kneeling Pallof press (Second Trimester) ➡️ Standing Pallof press (Third Trimester)
.
✅ (ANTI-LATERAL FLEXION) Side Plank (First Trimester) ➡️ DB Rack Carry (Second Trimester) ➡️ Suitcase Carry (Third Trimester)
.
✅ (HIP FLEXION W/ A NEUTRAL SPINE) ➡️Bear Crawl (First Trimester) ➡️Slow Mountain Climber (Second Trimester) ➡️ Incline slow mountain climber (Third Trimester)
.
✅ (ROTATION) Half-Kneeling Band Lift (First Trimester) ➡️Tall-Kneeling Band Chop (Second Trimester) ➡️ Standing Band Rotation (Third Trimester)
.
As always, consult your doctor before giving these a try. Feel good mama 😘

  • Q I’m getting a lot while here is how I am handling being away from David. I miss this child beyond words. It feels like my heart is actually separated from my body 💔 Crazy how 7 and a half months ago he was still in my belly and now he’s a real human living his own life 😳 The anxiety leading up to this trip was truly the hardest part for me as a mama. If I’m being real it was at the point of debilitating and I cried almost everyday with guilt. Once we got here I immediately felt better and to my surprise the anxious guilty feelings really subsided. I still miss him crazy amounts every single second but it is manageable and I know he is loved and happy with my mother in law who is enjoying this time she gets to spend with him. A happy healthy family starts with a happy healthy foundation from the parents and this trip has made me appreciate my marriage more than ever. We are having such an amazing time reconnecting and doing the things we love to do together, the things that made us fall in love in the first place. So my advice to all my mamas out there feeling all the feels about leaving their babies 👉🏼 allow yourself to feel all the emotions now because it does get better. You will have a good time with your partner regardless of what it may seem like. Your babies WILL BE FINE and a little time apart is healthy in order to be the best mama you can be ❤️ #HealthyAlibi

  • From my Pregnancy Journal:
Baby Kup-Kup,
It’s funny how our relationship started with me peeing on a stick; when the red line doubled, my heart did too. An hour hasn’t passed where you aren’t on my mind, nor a second where you aren’t on my heart. When you jab, kick, flutter, or bounce within me, my heart does the same in my chest. You haven’t entered the world, and yet you have already taught me so much on the matters of life: making choices for the sake of others and how love has no bounds. It’s not time yet, but oh how eager I am to hold you, smell your precious baby scent, feel your velvety skin, and — if your feet are anything like your dad’s and mine — squish your pudgy toes. I am so excited to show you my favorite places and teach you my most enjoyed hobbies, but even more, I long to learn your interests and help you navigate your place in this world. You remind me of how existence screams of a Creator, because a love this pure and true could only be from Him.
Love, Mom

  • I know there were times growing up when I didn't want to go to church. Sometimes as a kid, I wanted to stay home and play with my toys and then as a teenager, I wanted to go hang out with friends or sleep in instead.⁣
⁣
But as I’ve grown up and now have a child on the way, it’s really put things in perspective for me. No words could ever express to my parents for raising me in church, for introducing me to Christ and teaching me about Him, and for being Christ-like examples for me and for my sister. ⁣
⁣
Over the years, it’s helped instill moral values & knowledge in me that wouldn’t have been possible without my parents. They’ve helped me grow in my relationship with Christ, a relationship which has helped me & saved me through many difficult times.⁣
⁣
I’m beyond grateful for my Savior & the feeling of comfort and reassurance He gives me when I come to Him in prayer. ⁣
⁣
He is my safe place, my shelter, my Protector.⁣
⁣
And He’s the same for you, my friend. None of us are alone in this journey nor were we ever meant to do this thing called life by ourselves.⁣
⁣
Oh how He loves us 💗

  • 2 beautiful miles in paradise this morning 😍
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you work out on vacation?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I always like to start my day with something active when traveling. It just makes me feel better for the rest of the day to get my heart rate up in the morning.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Days on days of eating out & different from my routine can make me feel blah. I find starting my day with 20 minutes of activity helps fix that 🏃🏻‍♀️

  • I’ll be 41 weeks tomorrow 🤰🏼
This is one of my favorite pics of my belly ever 📷
.
.

So many comments are already rolling in, seeing “when”I’m going to be induced. Did you know, 42 weeks used to be the normal? Yet, I’ve heard so many stories lately of doctors pressuring their clients to get induced at 39 weeks.
.
.

That. Is. Scary.
.
.

And no, I’m not talking about medically needed induction, I know there is a time and a place for that, and so many take my words and twist them.
.
.

If you have been following my journey for very long, you know a few of these things about me.
.
.

I’m a fetal scope loving, against ultrasounds and dopplers, against circumcising, as many things natural, DIY herbal bath, postpartum making “down there” EO sprays, homemade elderberry syrup and bone broth junkie, fresh juicing, Jesus loving, boho themed nursery lover, co-sleeping advocate, midwife natural birth encourager, do your own research and don’t fall victim of the scare tactics, you were born for this momma, fitness enthusiast, fresh flowers in the house, let emotions flow instead of bottling them up, kale loving, gut health advocate, supplement using, holistic health, homeopathics for the win, KST adjustment for our wellbeing, cheer others on, and never speak horrible things to others or rain on their parade or say really nasty things to others kinda gal.
.
.

With all of that being said, I am REAL and not perfect. I broke down the other day and had Shawn go get me a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and had a bowl of that sugary, non nutrition, full of junk crap for dinner. I haven’t worked out daily throughout pregnancy. I had a pedicure recently with gel polish that wasn’t natural. I have had my hair done twice during pregnancy.

But you know what? At the end of the day, I’m at complete PEACE with the discussions we have made, and truly believe we are ALL just doing our best for our little bundle of joy that God has blessed us with. There is so much judgement out there, and it needs to STOP! You are either classified as “hippie” for choosing a natural route, or horrible for going the typical traditional route. • I’ll be 41 weeks tomorrow 🤰🏼
This is one of my favorite pics of my belly ever 📷
    .
    .

So many comments are already rolling in, seeing “when”I’m going to be induced. Did you know, 42 weeks used to be the normal? Yet, I’ve heard so many stories lately of doctors pressuring their clients to get induced at 39 weeks.
    .
    .

    That. Is. Scary.
    .
    .

And no, I’m not talking about medically needed induction, I know there is a time and a place for that, and so many take my words and twist them.
    .
    .

If you have been following my journey for very long, you know a few of these things about me.
    .
    .

I’m a fetal scope loving, against ultrasounds and dopplers, against circumcising, as many things natural, DIY herbal bath, postpartum making “down there” EO sprays, homemade elderberry syrup and bone broth junkie, fresh juicing, Jesus loving, boho themed nursery lover, co-sleeping advocate, midwife natural birth encourager, do your own research and don’t fall victim of the scare tactics, you were born for this momma, fitness enthusiast, fresh flowers in the house, let emotions flow instead of bottling them up, kale loving, gut health advocate, supplement using, holistic health, homeopathics for the win, KST adjustment for our wellbeing, cheer others on, and never speak horrible things to others or rain on their parade or say really nasty things to others kinda gal.
    .

  • “First take a deep breath and count to five, Mommy. And then you will feel calmer.” He says to me when I find him with my favorite lipstick completely smeared all over his face 🙈. Thank you Daniel Tiger for this little trick. We tell him to do it all the time and I guess he thought I needed it too 😆.
.
I was told that one day at his bilingual preschool (he goes a couple times a week), a little girl was crying and he went over and held her hands and had her take deep breaths and count until she calmed down. #momwin
.
He makes me crazy but oh so proud in the same breath.
.
Q: Whats the crazies thing your child has gotten in to? Make up? Markers? Sugar? Share the stories!

  • I Am...Never Giving Up!⠀
⠀
⠀
I just finished my Barre program and I can’t help but feel emotional. These programs are more than just about losing some weight..⠀
⠀
I’m taught about growing my self love. ⠀
I’m focused on the progress I’ve made so far. ⠀
I’m celebrated for not quitting. ⠀
I’m motivated by the accountability. ⠀
⠀
This is a continuing journey for me. I’m never going to stop working on myself. I’m never going to stop increasing my confidence. I deserve to be healthier, happier, and proud. ⠀
⠀
I want to be an example to those struggling. ⠀
I want to be an inspiration to those who think they can’t. ⠀
I am proving it to myself every single day that I am worth it and I’m not stopping. ⠀
⠀
If you’re wanting some change in your life, go after it. Make that first step to change. Focus on a more happier version of yourself. Believe in yourself for once. ⠀

  • that feeling when you complete a workout program that lasted the entire longevity of the #1sttrimester of your pregnancy...
.
I 🅽🅴🆅🅴🆁 would have stayed committed my first pregnancy, I would have used it as a handicap to tap out 🙅🏻‍♀️
.
when I would have to push pause ⏸ a million times to puke my brains out 🤢🤮 I would have told myself, “well at least you tried.”

when I felt so exhausted from growing a human, I would have never woke up at 5:30am to make sure I worked on my mental & physical health before starting my day.

Pregnancy has been a mysterious and wonderful journey, a profound teacher, and an excellent practice in humor and humility. .
.
It’s hard to believe that before I know it pregnancy will be just a sweet memory, and we will meet our son face to face. .
{It’s weird to think about because sometime it seems like haven’t I always been pregnant?? 40+ weeks is most of a year...do that math, it’s not 9 months like people say! Plus, it’s been so long since last time I slept through the night without having to get up to pee that I’m beginning to wonder if that ever was a thing 😂 }
.
Nighttime bathroom trips aside, I’m in that final stage where I can feel a shift happening in my heart and my body, preparing me for this next season of motherhood.
And of course like any first timer, I am excitedly awaiting his arrival, wondering if any/every weird feeling or new discomfort is the start of our birth process.🤔
.
.
I know he’ll show up right when he’s meant to arrive, just when the world needs a new bit of light to shine.
But I’m the meantime, I’ll be reading all the things, googling and texting friends asking about their birth experiences and singing him little songs so he knows my voice well when he does arrive. 😍
.
.
Tell me friends, how do you pass the time with all the waiting? 🙃
.

  • Wrapping up Heart Health month at Jazzercise Greenville Greer with @lindsww ... 7 months pregnant #legend 😍
Did you know that exercising while pregnant is not only good for mom’s heart, it’s good for baby’s too? ❤️
According to a 2011 study, infants whose mothers exercised while pregnant developed stronger, more athletic hearts even before birth. Their pulses were slower and the beat-to-beat variability was greater, a general indication of better-conditioned cardiac muscles. ❤️
Whether or not you’re expecting, Lindsey loves to see you “bumping” up your heart rate in her classes!

  • Just one year apart and in very different stages of life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But here’s the thing, my morning routine still hasn’t changed. I wake up, read personal development, push play on a workout, and then head off to school. Every single day. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The routine was set in place years ago, but the rewards I continue to get from it are unmatched. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This routine helped me get into the best shape of my life and now has also taken me through a tiring first trimester when I certainly didn’t feel my energized self in the morning and it’s carrying me through my third trimester as I start to feel like I need to be rolled into my gym. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I encourage you to take baby steps to alter or initiate a routine that will help you the way my mornings have. Start small and build each day until you are subconsciously and automatically performing the routine. You’ve got this 💪🏻. #teamworkforfit

  • Cardio and Core today. Had to take the car in to be worked on this morning so I didn’t get my workout in till after. Oh boy was the garage hot 🥵 🔥 by then. .
.
I love the fan on when I workout but my hubby hates it. Where do you stand? Fan or no fan?

  • Here I am at 28 weeks pregnant. Going into the the third trimester strong!! I’m not posting to make myself look a certain way to anyone. I am posting because people don’t understand how important it is to stay active during pregnancy. It’s such a good thing to do for you, your body, and your baby. When I was pregnant with Owen I did not exercise at all. I gained over 50 pounds. I got so depressed while I was pregnant that I had horrible thoughts and eventually had to let a medication control me.... this pregnancy has been the complete opposite. Yes I’ve gained weight and that’s just part of it. I just feel amazing. I am not depressed. It has been so amazing not feeling the way I had felt. It’s amazing knowing instead of sitting around and being depressed and letting a medication control me, I am doing something I love which is creating endorphins that make me feel amazing. To the people that think lifting weights is harmful to the baby, you are wrong. As long as your body is used to lifting and exercise in general, you can continue to do anything you want to do. Yes you have to modify and change some things. I just hope that I can inspire other women who are pregnant and have maybe been where I’ve been before. Here’s to the 3rd trimester!!! Baby girl will be here so soon 🥰💕 I did several other exercises, but here’s what I recorded
#backworkout #workout #28weekspregnant #thirdtrimester #fitpregnancy #fitpregnancyjourney #liftingpregnant #fitness #fitnessmotivation #pregnancy #backday
1. Cable behind head pulldown
2. Kneeled face pull
3. Wide grip lat pulldown
4. Underhand cable row
5. Narrow grip pulldown
6. Cable crossover
7. Bicep cable curls

  • There’s something you don’t know about my journey. ⁣
⁣
When I was pregnant with Noah, I couldn’t workout. 𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺. ⁣
⁣
From 11 weeks to 20 weeks, my doctor said I couldn’t do anything more than walk around. I had some complications, and she wanted me to be safe. As a first time mom, 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝. ⁣
⁣
I had always been super active up to that point. I was used to being in the gym 5-6 days a week. Going from 100 to 0 was difficult and terrifying. 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘺, 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯, 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘥. I was so scared and took it easy to be cautious. Plus, who doesn’t want to nap all the time while pregnant!?⁣
⁣
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭.⁣
⁣
I have been blessed to not have bleeding so far this pregnancy, and I decided to take full advantage. 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐈’𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲!⁣
⁣
I’m still not pushing it, but I have definitely been enjoying a low impact Barre program this time around! Though I may not feel like it everyday, I always try to remember to be grateful that I even have the opportunity to move my body. ⁣
⁣
You never know what you might miss until you’re told you can’t do it anymore. Take advantage of opportunities, seize the day, and reflect on all there is to be grateful for. ⁣

  • Since recommitting myself to my health and fitness routine, I’ve lived in a constant state of doubt.
.
Every single week that I snap a progress photo I always think there isn’t going to be any change.
.
The scale hasn’t been moving a ton.
.
But every week I am surprised to see new changes.
.
You would think that I wouldn’t doubt myself after seeing how far I’ve come, but after giving up on myself so many times over the past couple of years, it’s been harder to restore that belief 100%.
.
So here I am again after thinking there is NO WAY I could have possibly had any changes in the past week. My workouts last week weren’t my best effort. I didn’t drink hardly any water at the Great Wolf Lodge. I also ended up eating in their restaurant 2x.
.
Yet here we are with noticeable progress. .
Workout 54 was done today. Only 26 left. SO PROUD of my journey and still so much more I’m working towards! .
My next boot camp starts Monday! DM me for details! Let’s do this 💪🏼

We only get one life, and you owe it to yourself to become everything you've ever dreamed of.

  • Stop thinking of it as a chore.
.
It’s not a, “I have to workout.” It’s a, “I get to workout.”♥️
.
Change your mindset. Instead of thinking of your workout as a chore, think of it as a blessing. Some people would give anything to be able to be in your shoes.
.
The blood pumping through my veins. The air fresh air in my lungs. The smile on my face. The feeling I have after taking 30-40 minutes for myself. The soreness I feel after.💪🏼
.
It’s worth it every time.♥️

  • 6 years ago I didn’t even know he existed....
.
.
I didn’t know how different my life would look in a few short years and how much happiness he would bring into my life.❤️
.
.
On our second date I knew he was the one. I even told my mom that.... she thought I was crazy 🤣
.
.
I didn’t need someone to take care of me (I’ve always been super independent). I just needed someone to fill that missing piece. 🧩
.
.
He makes me laugh, keeps me young, irritates the crap out of me some days and most recently helps me get up out of the floor🙄 #pregnancyproblems.
.
.
And now, we start the final countdown until we get to meet our little man. 💙
.
.
So excited for our next adventure because If I’ve learned anything over the past 6yrs, it’s that we can handle the tough stuff when we do it together. 👫

    .
    .
    .
He makes me laugh, keeps me young, irritates the crap out of me some days and most recently helps me get up out of the floor🙄 #pregnancyproblems .
    .
    .
And now, we start the final countdown until we get to meet our little man. 💙
    .
    .
So excited for our next adventure because If I’ve learned anything over the past 6yrs, it’s that we can handle the tough stuff when we do it together. 👫

  • We had our 36 week appointment this week! It’s such a crazy feeling to know how close we are to the end! Baby Girl is measuring at 5lbs 4oz! Not sure how she still has room in there! Especially with her head measuring at 38 weeks!!😳 #notexcitedforthat •
We are in big time prepare mode right now! I feel like each day I feel differently about wanting her here, and wanting her to stay safe in my belly. Either way, we love you so much Stella Leighan!💕#36weekupdate

What happened before October of 2019, though? I got smarter about my health. I was so sick of constantly feeling not at my best, and I knew that had to change once becoming a mom. My daughters need a strong and supportive mother, and when you focus on both your outside and inside {insert personal development and taking care of your body here}, the rest will fall into place. ⁣

  • I recently just started working out again 🙌🏽 In my first trimester, I would throw up without fail 5 min into a workout. For my second and early third trimester, I would get intense abdominal pain and swelling during any sort of lift or HR increase 😬 after talking to my doctor, I decided to take a break from working out. In these last few weeks, I’ve decided to do very low intensity work just to get my blood moving and it has felt incredible 🙃 I have completed 14 workouts this months and I’m not planning on stopping! Exercise has always been an awesome outlet for my mental and physical health, so I’ve really missed it .

  • 30 WEEKS PREGNANT 🎀

I knew February would fly by. With now only 2 months to go I’m starting to feel very different emotionally. Not so much about pregnancy and labor, I feel I’ve got a good handle on that. However, that’s only a blimp of what happens next. 💕Overall physically feeling great! Noticing it’s harder to breathe and I can’t take deep breaths anymore like I’m used to. Hips flexors are also more tight so yoga has been feeling so good!
💕Emotions have shifted to more fear of motherhood 💕Baby moving a lot and now packing a punch!
💕23# weight gain total
💕yoga 1-2x/week, bounce 2x/week, Pilates 1-2x/week, strength training 1x/week and pickleball 1x/week plus lots of walking 💕Toured hospital birth center

  • Last week I was a bit MIA on social media but very present in reality! I’ve been closely observing the changes in my body, life and now schedule as my appointments are every 2 weeks!

@blogilates @popflex_active are on the search for the 2020 Power Girl and asking everyone, “what is your superpower?” Last year I answered this completely different. This year my superpower is so simple and something I been my whole life and I also cannot control. I have been pretty focused on the quote, “control what you can control”. In the last 7 months I have experienced so much growth both mentally and literally physically as my body creates a human! So much of this process I can not control and that has been such a challenge for me!
So with that being said, My super power is simple, out of my control and it’s just that...being a WOMAN! Females are so strong and powerful and our bodies are capable of so much we don’t realize until we go through it. Everyone always talks about babies being miracles but I never really thought too much about it until now. I’m literally feeling the creation of life kicking and stretching my insides away! Becoming a mother for me isn’t about being physically strong anymore. The mental shift I’m making is such a process that I believe it’s the reason it takes 9 months to create life is to truly prepare us in every aspect.
I’m just under 10 weeks out from another human completely relying on me to survive. I’m so scared to become a mom and feel completely powerless but that simply being a woman is my superpower. Hats off ladies we are badass 💪🏼
