Gisteren was een vrij pittige dag waarin ik ook echt wel overprikkeld raakte. Ik ben op zo'n moment zo moe en leeg dat ik helemaal niks meer kan hebben en door een hard geluid al bijna moet huilen. Vandaag wil en moet ik dan ook echt weer even mijn rust pakken! 😊
Ik begin de dag zo bij de fysio en ben benieuwd naar wat ze te zeggen heeft.. Ik werk nu op haar advies een maand lang aan mijn houding maar ook dat heeft nog helemaal niks opgeleverd. Wel gaan we zo kijken of ik eventueel weer kan hardlopen. Het hangt van mijn loophouding af of dat geen goed idee is of juist wel een positief effect zou kunnen hebben. Ik ben benieuwd of ik het überhaupt nog kan. 😅🤪

I always knew I’d have girls. And these two are the EXACT girls I am supposed to have. Kylie is strong, persistent, and tenacious. She doesn’t let people push her around, and many of her teachers agree that she’s a force of nature with a tender side. .
Everly is exactly what balances Kylie out. She’s snuggly, friendly, loves animals and worships the ground Kylie walks on. She gives the best hugs and has an affinity for dresses and makeup. .
I don’t know why I got so lucky with these two, or how God choose me to be their Mama. But I know despite how much they drive me nuts, and how many times a day I fail them they are mine. Here’s to all the #girlmamas out there and the endless makeup parties, glitter fights, and sleepovers to come.

What's your favourite triceps exercise?
First of all... Do mine even exist 😂 I've been massively abandoning my upper body recently and it's time to make a change. I have issues with my elbows locking and being unable to even do daily activities without them locking and me ending up having to click my elbows out. I always thought it was a joint issue (because of the horrendous clicking!) Diagnosis was that I have hyper-mobility and weak triceps. Injuries & issues are most likely caused by a weakness or problem on a completely different part of your body! Strong triceps are necessary for every pushing movement and some pulling movements. They also stabilise your shoulders and elbows.
A strong tricep helps to create the balance needed for a strong bicep and your strength isn't measured by the size of your bicep, but by the force in your tricep.
My new challenge: Don't skip arm day! 💪

I finally made it to @sweatbybxr@bxrlondon last night and I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest! We were greeted by really friendly staff the second we walked in to the plushly decorated gym, the changing rooms were beautiful and spacious (they were bigger than my entire flat!) and the lighting was oh so flattering. We gave the concept SWEATBOX a go; the combo of working on the punch bags and various box/floor work pushed us hard and I was sweating within minutes. The session led by @wazashayer was brilliant and the music was on point! Before enjoying a super luxe shower (each cubicle was kitted out with my absolute fave @malinandgoetz products) we grabbed a much needed hit of protein at their own @joeandthejuice and watched a few of the footy highlights on their giant tv screen. Now this is a place I could happily get used to going to. 🥊💦💪🏽
