I watched the flat earther, beyond the curve, documentary on @netflix last night. I have a few questions... 1. Why hasn’t anyone ever been to the edge and taken a photograph? 2. What’s the underneath of the earth look like? 3. How high is the dome? 4. Why have all the experiments you #flatearthers people have tried, failed? 5. Mark Sergeant, how neurotic and celebrity hungry are you? ... I could keep the questions coming. #idiots#flatearth
This one was requested so here we go, still is a stupid post by @officialflatearthsociety
So a common misconception is that vacuums suck things, probably due to vacuum cleaners being more widely known than the effects of the vacuum of space.
In physics the vacuum of space does not exert any force on the atmosphere at all, it doesn't "suck" any gases out of the atmosphere. The earth's atmosphere stays in position due to the large gravitational pull of the planet. There is no physical barrier separating the two, there is the Karmen line at 100km but that's the internationally recognised end of the atmosphere not an actual barrier.
@officialflatearthsociety, stop trying to disprove science, this stuff that your putting out to try and disprove science, is really terrible and isn't really well thought out, I'm really sick of your stupid hypotheses and your community of worshippers who listen to whatever bullshit is put forward trying to prove the earth is flat.
Happy Earth Day. So glad you are not flat. This flat earth eclipse looks silly. So glad you are an oblate spheroid, with oceans, rivers, lakes and streams, mountains, plains, deserts, fertile fields, tundra and more
For all the #flatearth people that conflate the atmosphere to a soda and a straw. Pressure gradients! See how the beads in the bottom are not doing a damn thing until a force, the top bottle, is acting in it. Same reason the air doesn't get "sucked in to space". Stop watching SpaceBalls you morons.
