Recipe 👇
2 small heads of cauliflower (makes around 3 cups of florets), raw
Oil for frying
2 tbsp cornstarch + 4 tbsp water 
Extra orange slices
Sesame seeds
Batter:
1/2 cup flour 
1 tbsp corn starch 
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup water
Breading: 
1 1/2 cup bread crumbs 
1/2 cup desiccated coconut (or sub more bread crumbs) 
Glaze:
1 cup orange juice from 2 navel oranges (or orange juice of choice) 
1 tsp orange zest
1/4 cup maple syrup 
3 tbsp soy sauce 
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar or white vinegar
2 tbsp water 
Steps * 	In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the batter until it turns into a smooth, thick consistency. * 	Evenly coat the florets in the batter. You can do this in batches. * 	In another bowl, add in the bread crumbs and desiccated coconut. Mix. * 	One by one, place each cauliflower into the breadcrumb mixture. Coat well using one hand (this is to avoid messy hands—I usually use one hand for dry and one hand for wet when coating cauliflower). Press down the bread crumbs on the cauliflower. Set aside once coated. * 	Heat a frying pan with some oil. Once hot (you can add in some bread crumbs to test the heat—it will start to bubble once hot), place the cauliflower florets and cook until golden brown, moving it around on each side every 2 minutes or so. * 	Once golden brown, set aside on a strainer to drain excess oil or you can put this on a plate with paper towels. Let cool for a few minutes. * 	For the glaze, mix everything into a sauce pan and cook over low heat for 3-4 minutes until it starts to boil. * 	Turn off heat then pour in the cornstarch mixture and mix until it thickens. You can add some more sliced oranges, if desired. * 	Add the cauliflower into the glaze and mix until well incorporated. Sprinkle some sesame seeds, if desired.

Zet vanavond de havervlokken in de week. Dit doe je zo: meng in een kommetje de havervlokken, kaneel, vanillepoeder, chiazaden en plantaardige melk. Dek af en laat een nacht weken in de koelkast. Ook handig: maak je ontbijt in een glas! 
Haal morgenochtend de overnight oats uit de koelkast en roer even door met een lepel. Nu komt het leukste gedeelte: het versieren van je onbijt! Kies je favoriete toppings en maak laagjes met bijvoorbeeld plakjes banaan, blauwe bessen, rozijnen, goji bessen. 400 g de pâtes
20 choux de Bruxelles
30 g de pignons
100 g de lardons
20cl de crème fraîche
20g de parmesan râpé
Sel & poivre
1 càs d’ail
1 càs d’huile d’olive
. 
1/ Faire cuire les pâtes et réserver. Couper le pied des choux puis les effeuiller.  2/ Faire revenir dans une poêle à feu vif les feuilles de chou, les lardons et les pignons avec l’huile d’olive et les assaisonnements. 
3/ Baisser le feu de votre poêle et rajouter la crème et les pâtes. 
4/ Au moment de servir, saupoudrez avec le parmesan

Triple Chocolate Layer Jars by  @vegaliciously ❤️

INGREDIENTS:
for the mousse
4 dl coconut milk (cold)
140 g dark chocolate
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp coconut sugar
a pinch of salt
for the cumble
130 g flour
2 tbsp cacao powder
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1/2 tsp salt
70 g soy butter (cold)
for the ganache
120 g dark chocolate
50 g coconut milk
a pinch of salt
70 g crushed hazelnuts
METHOD
1. For the mousse, place chocolate, coconut oil and salt in a bowl and melt using a double boiler.
2. Place aside and let it cool.
3. Pour coconut milk in a bowl, add in sugar and whip until stiff peaks form.
4. Mix the whipped cream with the chocolate mixture until combined, place in the fridge for 2 hours.
5. For the crumble, place, flour, cacao powder, salt, sugar and butter in a bowl and work the butter into the flour and sugar until the mixture forms coarse crumbs.
6. Place the crumble on a baking tray covered with baking paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until gold brown.
7. For the ganache, place chocolate and salt in a bowl and cover with hot coconut milk, whisk until combined and set aside until firm.
8. Prepare 4-5 jars and then make layers of crumble, chocolate mousse, ganache and hazelnuts.
9. 11. place the jars in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours before serving.

Nigdy nie byłam ogromną fanką soczewicy, zalegały mi w szafie dwa opakowania i musiałam je w końcu jakoś wykorzystać. Zainspirowana dziesiątkami przepisów z internetu stworzyłam coś, nieskromnie przyznając, totalnie czadowego!!!!! Łapcie przepis!
◾SKŁADNIKI:
- 1 szklanka soczewicy czerwonej łupanej
- około 10 pomidorów suszonych w zalewie
- 1 łyżka soku z cytryny
- 2-3 łyżki pasty tahini (można zastąpić olejem z zalewy)
- 3 łyżki oleju z zalewy
- kilka ząbków czosnku (wg uznania)
- sól, pieprz i inne ulubione przyprawy (u mnie słodka papryka i bazylia)
◾SPOSÓB PRZYGOTOWANIA:
Do wrzącej wody wsypujemy opłukaną soczewicę, zmniejszamy ogień i gotujemy przez około 8 minut, w międzyczasie zdejmując szumowinę. (Uwaga! Soczewicy nie solimy w trakcie gotowania, gdyż może zrobić się twarda. Jeśli nie macie łupanej, lecz w całości, gotujecie przez 13-14 minut) Soczewicę odsączamy i blendujemy z resztą składników na gładką masę. Jeśli pasta wyjdzie za gęsta, można dodać odrobinę wody lub oleju.
PS kupiłam pomidory w zalewie z żurawiną, więc jej również dodałam do pasty - dodała fajnej, słodkiej nutki!

This is by far one of my most kid-approved FODMAP friendly meals. It is also one of the easiest to digest, and is great served either warm or cold. Black rice is slowly making its way into mainstream supermarkets here in the West, despite being used frequently in traditional Asian cuisine.🇯🇵⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Because of its dark colour, black rice bran contains the same anthocyanin antioxidants found in blueberries or blackberries. 😱 ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
It also has a delicious gelatinous texture that makes it perfect for use in a range of sweet dishes. Put this in the fridge for a decadent chilled breakfast. 👌⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Makes: 4-6 servings⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Nourishing Ingredients 👇⁠⠀
• 1 cup short grain Black @forbiddenfoods rice⁠⠀
• 3 cups unsweetened @nuttybruce or homemade Almond Milk (I used some infused with @adunaworld cacao spice tea)⁠⠀
• ½ tsp Cinnamon ⁠⠀
• 1 pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt (this will bring out the choc flavour)⁠⠀
• ¼ cup pure Maple or Pureharvest rice malt Syrup • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder ⁠⠀
• Optional toppings: berries, cacao nibs, &/or vegan dark chocolate chips ⁠⠀
• Note: an extra drizzle of maple syrup is always a good idea ;) ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
To create 👇⁠⠀
In a medium pot add the rice, almond milk, cinnamon, and sea salt ⁠⠀
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, and place a lid on the pot⁠⠀
Cook for about an hour, or until the rice is tender – don’t be alarmed as your cooking water will turn black - you will need to stir the mixture every now and then to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot ⁠⠀
Once the rice is tender, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the maple syrup and cacao powder⁠⠀

  • Choc Black Rice Pudding 🍫🍚 ⁠⠀
    ⁠⠀
    This is by far one of my most kid-approved FODMAP friendly meals. It is also one of the easiest to digest, and is great served either warm or cold. Black rice is slowly making its way into mainstream supermarkets here in the West, despite being used frequently in traditional Asian cuisine.🇯🇵⁠⠀
    ⁠⠀
    Because of its dark colour, black rice bran contains the same anthocyanin antioxidants found in blueberries or blackberries. 😱 ⁠⠀
    ⁠⠀
    It also has a delicious gelatinous texture that makes it perfect for use in a range of sweet dishes. Put this in the fridge for a decadent chilled breakfast. 👌⁠⠀
    ⁠⠀
    Makes: 4-6 servings⁠⠀
    ⁠⠀
    Nourishing Ingredients 👇⁠⠀
    • 1 cup short grain Black @forbiddenfoods rice⁠⠀
    • 3 cups unsweetened @nuttybruce or homemade Almond Milk (I used some infused with @adunaworld cacao spice tea)⁠⠀
    • ½ tsp Cinnamon ⁠⠀
    • 1 pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt (this will bring out the choc flavour)⁠⠀
    • ¼ cup pure Maple or Pureharvest rice malt Syrup • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder ⁠⠀
    • Optional toppings: berries, cacao nibs, &/or vegan dark chocolate chips ⁠⠀
    • Note: an extra drizzle of maple syrup is always a good idea ;) ⁠⠀
    ⁠⠀
    To create 👇⁠⠀
    In a medium pot add the rice, almond milk, cinnamon, and sea salt ⁠⠀
    Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, and place a lid on the pot⁠⠀
    Cook for about an hour, or until the rice is tender – don’t be alarmed as your cooking water will turn black - you will need to stir the mixture every now and then to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot ⁠⠀
    Once the rice is tender, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the maple syrup and cacao powder⁠⠀

Unlike Holland, in Morocco we have three meals per day. However, these last few weeks have been hectic which made me only go for two "full" (cereals for breakfast is not really full but anywho) meals per day. I usually forget lunch or postpone it until dinner so I could eat once and be done with it.
Nobody asked for this, and I'm quite certain nobody cares but hey, felt like typing so deal with it I guess 🤣

  • 🇪🇸markets and tapas🇪🇸 of course the grubhub has been exploring every food market available and these are pictures from the huge Boqueria market in Barcelona. We have also been mastering the art of tapas in particular pintxos which are small tapas like bites on bread, with pinxtos bars lined up along a street the idea is you normally move between bars, having a bite and a drink at each before moving on. While I appreciate these may not be the most appetising photos all of the food has been so delicious and we of course have had croquettes with almost every meal. I ❤️ tapas

Everything was sharing in a sort of tapas style but just was all so incredibly delicious. Some of the food included their world famous tortilla, a frozen gazpacho soup, ox tail on confit potato’s, duck confit and panko aubergines and it was excellent - a must go for anyone in Madrid!

  • RECIPE 🍈 | How exotic it sounds: matcha lime tarts. They are very easy to make and perfect to stay in a summer atmosphere. Yet? This is how you make them yourself, from bottom to garnish:

Please note, this recipe uses soaked cashew nuts as an ingredient and that requires 4 hours of week time.

For the bottom, blend in the small cup of the Magic Bullet or NutriBullet 600 and with the grinding knife blade:
🍈 45 grams of oats
🍈 40 grams of almonds
🍈 7 dates (unpitified, watered)
🍈 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
🍈 1 teaspoon coconut oil (melted)

Mix into a sticky mixture, press it into baking tins and place it in the fridge for half an hour.

For the filling, blend the following ingredients in the Magic Bullet or NutriBullet with the extractor knife blade:
🍈 140 grams of cashew nuts (soak in hot water for 4 hours)
🍈 60 milliliters of soy milk
🍈 2 tablespoons agave
🍈 1 1/2 lime (juice)
🍈 2 teaspoons matcha powder

Mix into a smooth and creamy mixture and fill the bottoms. Decorate with some lime slices.

I’ve been using @morrisons own free from cheddar recently, and it’s up there with some of the best vegan cheese I’ve tried, with a nutty cheesy taste perfect as is or melted 👌 
Want a how-to for a fool-proof grilled cheese? Butter both sides of your bread then cut your chosen cheese in thin strips by using a peeler, then add your other chosen condiments. Here, I’ve got tomato, coriander and chutney from @spr.ead 🍅 Place in a frying pan, butter side down, on a high heat and cook until golden. About 2-3 mins each side will do👩‍🍳 What would be in your ultimate cheese toastie? 👇
