Here is a little about the second image I'm sharing today:
Beauty on the Redwood Highway: US 101
Late night cars paint their strokes of light onto night’s dark canvas along a corridor of towering redwood giants on US 101, the Redwood Highway. Photographed from the Avenue of the Giants, Humboldt County, California.
This image was composited from a few photos of the same scene taken in succession. One was a short exposure of 25 seconds or so for the sky. Several different longer exposures gathered he lights from the cars. Each car would cast its own light onto the scene, and each would drag its own streak of light behind it. Beams from the headlights acted as brushes of light to, painting the trees into a lighted corridor.
Tanalian Falls is a great place for one-day trip with your family! It is really easy hike, so you should not worry that your children will be tired! On the contrary, it will be an astonishing adventure!
my little nook. so many thoughts and realizations in such a tiny space. this is what I love about traveling tho. knowing that when I go home I will not be the same. I will have grown, I will have rediscovered parts of myself that got lost in the every day shuffle, I will be refreshed. and sometimes that's just what a girl needs.
I’ve actually been after a photo like this for quite some time. I imagined the train coming the other direction, but after waiting for it for over an hour I wasn’t going to argue. .
A CP freight train with 3 engines heads north through Midhurst, Ontario carrying what feels like Christmas goodies.
