We remember: Jumps take place in nature and society, i.e. that certain systems, laws etc. change. According to dialectical materialism, these changes are driven by external influences related to a quantity to a nodal point where a qualitative change occurs. This third principle contains an essential characteristic for the approach of a revolutionary movement and its revolutionaries. If, for example, one takes a proletariat of a size of 10 persons and compares this with the proletariat of the Russian Revolution, the first-mentioned proletariat is of course quantitatively smaller and probably rather incapable of bringing about the qualitative leap towards revolution. But what if one revolutionary continues to recruit workers and intellectuals and they, standing outside the proletariat, approve of the actions of the proletarians and thus feel they belong to the proletariat? In this case, the one revolutionary has ensured that the quantity of proletarians has changed quantitatively. Having brought on board more intellectuals and learning-mad workers, they will, by applying an effective strategy in recruiting new supporters, ensure that the rising quantitative crowd rises to the nodal point where the qualitative leap into revolution occurs and the capitalists are rid of their power. So the practical activity of a proletariat is to develop quantitatively in capitalism until the quantity reaches, until the qualitative leap and the achievement of socialism is possible. The task of the most capable strategists of a communist movement is to determine the time of the overthrow.
Before Portugal’s peaceful revolution on 25 April, 1974, the best wine was kept for the priests. Today it's shared with everyone. A toast to the revolution and freedom won! // Antes do 25 de Abril de 1974, o melhor vinho guardava-se para o padre. Hoje o melhor vinho guarda-se para si. Um brinde à revolução e à liberdade conquistada! #freedom#revolution#portugal#optawines#daowines#portuguesewines
That was because of greed (ref. yesterday’s post). People thought Bitcoin was going to be the World’s reserve currency and that it might go all the way up to $100k.
Bitcoin was a pump-and-dump. This means that the only reason Bitcoin increased so much was because of hype, nothing actually changed about Bitcoin. It just had a higher perceived value than what it was actually worth.
What happened when the hype fell away? Now it’s back down to $3,700.
