💖🌈🍫It’s hard not to be THIS happy all the time when surrounded by a rainbow of chocolate. Our cabinet is bursting with colourful chocolate bonbons, patiently waiting to be picked. 🥰 We’re open 10 am to 5 pm tomorrow — see you there! 💖😘

Peppermint candy macarons 🎪 I’m so happy to be collaborating with one of my faves today, @hanielas! We decided on a candy cane theme so I went with the loose idea of a peppermint candy. Please head over to her page to see what she came up with!❤️
I used a stencil on top to get the sparkly disco dust even {and no, the tops were not eaten— just the bottoms. It was for the aesthetic. I’m not sure if everyone is aware that disco dust is said to be non toxic but it should only be used for decorative items like toppers, things you will remove, etc. If you’re looking for an edible and FDA approved glitter dust, please check out prism powders by @fancysprinkles ! I know I talk about them constantly 😂 but they are really awesome and I’m still excited about having an edible, food safe glitter!!

This year, I wanted to keep it a bit more traditional and made this beauty in green. Are you team pink 🌲 or green 🌲? 🤔 .
A small cake filled with flowers, joy and sweetness. For the top of the cake we used white chocolate truffles and french macaroons in colours reflecting on the colours of the daisies.

#ad I always have a carton of @twochicksproducts in my fridge. They’re the UK’s best selling free range pasteurised liquid egg white brand and they are perfect for whipping up a batch of macarons.
When making macarons, it’s so annoying having leftover egg yolks and wastage, but that doesn’t have to be a concern with #twochicksproducts
These macarons are filled with an amaretto white chocolate ganache and a sprinkling of feuilletine, which is a type of cooked crepe that is also made with egg whites.
These make a great gift to share, or a tasty nibble for any parties you’re hosting.

Whoa, my macarons have come a long way. That's my first attempt at macarons for Thanksgiving 2018 and a box of macarons I made up for a friend a few weeks ago. Amazing the difference a year of obsessive practice makes. ;) After an intense week of baking last week, I'm taking this week off. Plus, we are headed to NYC with the kids for a weekend of adventure! TONIGHT is Shop Hop in @uptowngr Grand Rapids! The shopping event begins at 4pm, and we will be open until 9pm.
