  • My grip strength without the gloves is a 1000 times better if I use chalk and it blows my mind but I can’t depend on it coz of hyperhydrosis in the palms✋🏽💦.

But memories and days like these keep me going !! Any chance I get to do things without gloves, I try even if it lasts for a sec 🙏🏽 #waybackwednesday having some fun doin a #meathook variation without gloves :)

P.S: if anyone else has this prob and if u have found a solution other than sympathectomy (surgery) and gloves then plz drop me a msg !!

The labors of Hercules involved slaying hydras and capturing a three-headed demon dog, but the toughest must have been cleaning the Augean stables, which housed a thousand cattle and hadn’t been cleaned in thirty years. To make matters worse, they were “divinely healthy,” which for some reason meant that they pooped way more than your average cow.

He managed by using his strength to dig trenches into two rivers and rerouting them right through the stables. Talk about functional strength.

  • Часто сталкиваюсь с фразами типа: Да я деревянная(деревянный) и понимая, что это абсолютно не объективная оценка перфекционистов, у которых все должно быть на 💯, предлагаю пройти небольшой тест на определение гибкости.

Главное!!! Перед тем как приступить к тесту выполните 10-минутную разминку, разогрейте мышцы. Помните, что ваша гибкость и способность к растяжке это одна из функций вашей нервной системы. Так что будьте спокойны, думайте о хорошем👌🧘‍♀️ Станьте прямо, ноги поставьте рядом. Наклонитесь вперед, не сгибая ноги в коленях.
Посмотрите насколько далеко ваши руки могут дотянуться до ног. Что это - пол, щиколотки, голени. 
Станьте прямо, ноги расположены на ширине плеч. Руки опущены, ладони прислонены к бедрам. Делайте наклоны вправо и влево, при этом ладони должны скользить по ноге. При этом не  поворачиваем туловище.
Вы дотянул сь пальцами до икр, до колена, не достали до колена. 
Лягте на спину, перекинув ноги за голову. Дотянул сь прямыми ногами до пола, достали, но ноги согнуты в коленях, не дотянул сь до пола вообще. 
Сядьте на пол, ноги вместе и вытянуты вперед. Сделайте наклон к ногам. Руки захватывают пальцы ног, достают до щиколото, дотягиваются только до голени.
А теперь посмотрим на результат. В какой амплитуде движение. В полной, где-то посередине или вы смогли сделать минимум из предложенного. Оцените свою гибкость!!!

My belief in training is if you hate something its usually beneficial...
Some of us hate Assault Bikes or Rowers
A lot of us hate “Cardio”
The whole F**king world hates Burpees
Why do we hate the above?
Because its hard, it makes us suffer, gasp, grit our teeth, breath through our ….You get me!

We know that progression comes from that struggle, if you want to Squat more you have to push the boundary’s, hitting that last leg shaking rep and grinding through until its done…
It’s the same with your Fitness, if you want to become fitter, increase your aerobic capacity and last longer you need to push those boundaries….Thats the part we don’t like, pushing the boundaries on a 1RM lasts seconds where as in your conditioning work its a lot longer!
More time to think about the pain
More time to suffer
More time for your head to tell you to stop

LD’s got some advice for you, if you want to be a better version of you then pick those things you hate and do them at least once per week, do them at a volume and intensity that makes you not want to do it…Suffer once a week and you will be rewarded with the greatest gift of all…Fitness!!! Most importantly I can tell you that afterwards you will feel better than you every thought you could, the endorphins will be swimming, your sense of achievement sky high and pride shining!!!

Su superficie curva entrena de forma más efectiva los músculos de las piernas. Y gracias a que no tiene motor y eres tú quien marca la velocidad, favorece un gasto calórico mayor.

En @akrostraining la utilizan para entrenos de alto rendimiento, porque simula muy bien la mecánica real de la pisada en intensidades muy altas. Así que son ideales para los gimnasios donde no hay mucho espacio para hacer sprints. Y también en boxes de crossfit, donde se utilizan para hacer rutinas más metabólicas. @aritzaltadill nos recomienda esta rutina de resistencia a la velocidad que te gustará probar.

How the heck?

‘Training until failure’ to me, is when people try to push beyond muscular exhaustion and grind through too many extra repetitions with bad form because they either want to reach a certain number of repetitions or they believe that’s how they will make the best gains. .
But unfortunately, training to failure is madness because you can actually achieve better results from doing less.  By sacrificing good form to grind out those last few ugly reps, you’re ripping yourself off from maximum gains. .
It’s wiser to ensure that once you can no longer perform the exercise with correct technique using the correct muscles, then you should STOP that exercise, REST and let your muscles have the chance to ADAPT to the new stimulus allowing these muscles (or bones, tendons, other organs) to really capitalize on supercompensation … but that concept is for another video. .
Now I am not saying that you should never train hard, or push towards your limits in training, NO! I’m merely saying don’t chase severe pain or ugly reps at the expense of good form and more functional results.
