Last night was my final night working alongside some of the best damn cooks in the world. 5 weeks working under Corey Lee and his crew was absolutely mental, not to say the least exhausting. Thank you to everyone at Benu for having me and welcoming me with a cheerful heart. You’ve honed me to be a better cook and to look at food an entirely different perspective. Being on this cheerleading team felt more like being apart of a family. We became closer and built a bond that was unbreakable. Outside of practice we would hang out and go places together. The bond that we created among each other made it that much easier to cheer with one another. We always had each other's back through everything. Since I was freshman in high school through senior year I had the same coach. Her name is Dmauree Anderson she pushed us to the best of our ability even though sometimes we weren't to fond of it.
