Dragonfly: Copper & Steel
This is a piece that I did a few years ago. I picked it up again to rework the wings. I guess I can say that I’m happy the way it came out. The body is made from different sized pipe cutoffs that were laying around the shop in a scrap pile. The wings are .32” copper sheeting that has been hammered out,hit with a torch then riveted. Eventually this is going to go live outside as soon as I find the right place for it to exist. The hardest part of the process was taking pictures of it. .
I was running down this street and literally stopped! and walked out into traffic to fully appreciate u. If this house were a person, I would be hella creepy. But hear me out:
The front of this house is like, an experience. Foliage on fleek. Warm glow from a variety of light sources. Historical landmark designation. I don’t even want to go inside this house, because how could it stack up to the façade?! Gonna make this street a normal part of my running route. #ilikeurhouse#foliageonfleek

Look what we just found...a secret stash of vintage Chelsea Fringe badges. Super-cool on a lapel or satchel. We'll bring them along to share at our meeting for everyone taking part. That's on 14 May. See you there...🌼🌱💚
