  • Officially half way through my prep. 🙌🏻 With only 60 days left until my first competition, I’m reflecting on how much I’ve accomplished. 🧐 Since joining @team_pulse I have really seen SO much transformation in my body, my mental health and overall outlook on the control I have over my body. 🤗

Today I am 122.8 lbs. I have not been this weight since is was 16. 🤯 I know I still have some work to put in until I’m stage ready but I’m so fucking ready for it! 👊🏻

  • It’s not the chatter of people around us that is the most powerful distractor, but rather the chatter of our own minds.
.
We all have wanted to do something we thought was pretty cool, but then we ended up not doing it, because someone was looking at us in a weird way.
Fact is, the person didn't say a word. The only chatter, that was taking place was in our minds: "What is he thinking?", "Others will think I'm weird", "I should do it when I'm alone". .
We are scared to do things, because we are scared to be judged by others. They don't even have to say anything. What If that person didn't even look at us and was just looking at something different. It stopped us from executing on what we want to do in life.

That means stop the mind chatter. If you notice your mind starting to throw around with negative thoughts, stop it from doing so. Fight against it and execute on your dreams. Don't let your own mind stop you from achieving something great or having a great experience. At first it will be hard, but after you've done it a couple of times you will see how it gets much easier.

“There is no failure except in no longer trying. Never never never give up 💕 I constantly have to remind myself how far I’ve come with my journey. And as I get closer and closer to the 1 year mark post gastric sleeve surgery, I think about how different my life would be right now had I not made the decision to choose this path. I remember being so scared of sharing this journey and having hesitations for fear that I would be judged but I had to let go of those and allow myself to make my own decisions rather than let myself be influenced by the judgement of others. I knew that it would was beneficial for my future health and happiness and I worked incredibly hard to ensure its success. Had I not, I wouldn’t be where I am today. 🙌🏼 Remember that when making decisions because at the end of the day, no-one has to live with the consequences of them but you ✨"
