Transformation Tuesday!!!! Between these two pictures there is only a 10 lbs difference! It’s crazy what losing 10 lbs can do! I have had my ups and downs on this weight loss journey but it’s definitely one that I am glad I have started! I am feeling so much better and I love how differently my clothes are fitting!

Proud of my progress today. We hiked down to Queen’s Bath. It’s a rough trail; roots, rocks and mud for about 1/2 a mile. Then the lava beds you climb and walk over. The views are epic and the hike is worth every minute! Even the hike UP and out. Not only did I do it, I didn’t get near as out of breath as I was expecting and I recovered quickly. Progress!! Love it! And bonus!! Sea turtles!
I don’t want to brag but I’ve just run for a total of 8 minutes (with several brisk walks in between 1 minute of running/jogging). I haven’t done any exercise for a loooooong time and I’ve noticed the difference in my mental health. With a non-sleeping toddler my energy levels are at an all time low so whenever I thought of going for a run my instant afterthought was NO. I was late for an appointment yesterday so had to run to make it in time (only about 4 mins) but I think it kick started something (along with the gorgeous weather and birdsong) in me and I started the couch to 5K this morning... after downloading it three months ago. I’m thinking about the 9 weeks as a way to see what my body can do and as an alone time treat instead of putting too much pressure on the whole thing Fingers crossed I last the distance 🙏🏻. Starting today off with a bacon butty for 390 cals.
These past two days haven't been as naughty as they could have been. I've not counted calories but I made lots of good choices food wise. And yesterday we didn't end up eating while we were out so saved 1000+ cals there.
We also didn't drink too much alcohol because we've both been so tired. Falling asleep on the couch at 10pm 😂
Last night was a horrible night kid wise though, our daughter has an ear infection and our toddler just didn't want to sleep after 11pm so we've had no sleep.
Going to try to stay within cals today but if I end up eating a packet of biscuits I honestly won't care.
