If you ever visit Etosha National Park make sure to check out Klein Namutoni. We had some of the best sightings there. Besides these giraffes and a lot of other animals we saw a huge herd of around 40 elephants swimming, playing and having the time of their life in the water. It’s such an awesome experience to see these creatures in the wild where they belong. Good to know that there are still some places on earth where they are save.
Thanks and big respect to all the rangers, anti poaching units and other people out there, who working hard to protect

My adventure today was like being in the real-life version of Zoo Tycoon at the @detroitzoo! 😉 It was my first time at the Detroit Zoo and it was SO much fun! I got to see so many amazing animals that you just can’t see anywhere else! The penguin exhibit was one of my favorites, as well as the giraffe area! I was able to get pretty close to most of the animals, which was great! Accessibility was great at the zoo. Spending time with family and a friend was such an amazing time! I got to enjoy some ice cream on a hot summer day, which made it such a perfect time! It was great spending time in the Detroit area and not having it being hospital-related! Haha! I’ll never forget this fun day! 🦒 🦁 🐧 🦓 🦅 #detroitzoo#detroit#zoo#animals#giraffe#penguin#rhino#eagle#baldeagle#camel#lion#flamingo#seaotter#aquaticlife#funtimes
#julyteacherphotochallenge Day 23: animals. I would post a picture of my cats but I haven’t seen them all day! 😂 my favourite animals are giraffes 🦒 I absolutely love them and have many giraffe teddies, toys and a couple of blankets in my classroom. Yesterday I was awaiting an Amazon delivery. I’d ordered a new handbag with the voucher I got from my class for my end of year gift. Instead, this book arrived! I was really confused at first but then I found the gift note. An old colleague from my previous school had sent it to me 😍 we’d mentioned in the past about sending books to people at random times- a sort of ‘I saw this and thought of you!’ gift! I love it! I read it to my boys straight away and they seemed to enjoy it. 🤗 🦒 #teachersofinstagram#reading#giraffe#favouriteanimal#zeraffagiraffa#readingbook#sendabook#sendabooktosomeone#summerread#childrensbooks
Today was unreal. We spent all day on a safari through @krugernationalpark . On top of some prime photo opportunities, these are some activities/things we witnessed:
• A lion napping after a full feeding.
• Hyenas napping & chewing on some leftover bones from dinner.
• A dead nyala placed in a tree by a leopard.
• 3 cheetahs stalking & chasing after a steenbok. Luckily, the little guy got away before becoming their lunch.
• Elephants and even more elephants playing in the mud. • The remains of what once was a buffalo.
This trip is a dream. I highly suggest anyone that has a slight interest in wild animals or South Africa in general to add this to their bucket list. #krugernationalpark#kruger#southafrica#safari#elephant#lion#hyena#giraffe#cheetah#unreal

Have you met Jeadany? She was born with "microphthalnia"; a developmental eye disorder in which one or both eyes are abnormally small and have anatomic malformation. Yet, this babygirl is as cute as ever. Let's show this beauty some love ❤

This past weekend we celebrated our sweet baby boy. My wife planned the WHOLE event and it was incredible. Our theme was safari -- we hosted it at my sister in laws ranch & brought a baby giraffe (his name was Jax) 😛 💙
