Every 1 in 8 children diagnosed will pass away from cancer, and the parents are not only left with the loss of a child, but also a huge financial burden. ⠀
As a future health care professional, I believe it’s so important to give back to the community. Whether if you are a nurse, DO, MD, PA, PT etc We are all aligned with the same mission and have a common end goal in mind to do good for others by providing compassionate patient centered care.⠀
Having this IG platform as a MSN student, I want to share what I’m passionate about and to inspire others to do the same.💫
This gives me the opportunity to spread awareness about important topics that need to be addressed and brought attention to💫⠀
I’m happy to announce that I’ve teamed up with @foreverwithusfdn . This is a nonprofit organization that aids families who have recently lost a child to cancer by providing funds for an honorable funeral until no more children are taken from this disease.⠀
I had been following @foreverwithusfdn long before I started this nursing IG. I feel incredibly honored to represent @foreverwithusfdn and all the families they have helped. I’ve seen how far this nonprofit has come, && I’m excited to be apart of its future.⠀
I encourage you to follow along their journey, support the cause, and spread awareness about childhood cancer. 🤍⠀
We only get this one life to live, go out there and make a lasting impact on the world.🌎 🤍 ⠀

Without a doubt, the fastest way to achieve success is to first help others succeed. ⠀
As @thebriantracy said: "Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, 'What's in it for me?'”⠀
Today’s photo might not be high quality, but it is high quality impact. These students now have a chance to go to school in Honduras because of #Lifters providing a new roof for this entire school! Thank you for making a life-changing impact. #LiftUp

Did you ever see that 90s movie Sliding Doors...you know, the one that shows the two directions a life takes depending on whether Gwyneth did or did not make it through those doors and catch the train? Well, two years ago this girl invited me to attend the Annual Irish Luncheon at her family's restaurant @heartandcrown and my cerebral flip of the coin told me to accept. Shauna and I were total strangers at the time and little did I know that that one decision would then cause a chain of events that brings us here today...cheers'ing a Guinness as total buds 🤜🤛 ⠀
Not to mention, we get to work together helping to feed hundreds of thousands of kids in need here in Ottawa and abroad through @mealshare. Heart & Crown alone just shared its 50,000th meal - that's right, FIFTY-THOUSANDTH meal - making them one of the most generous restaurants in Mealshare history 🧡 ⠀
So Shauna and the rest of the Bradley family, I'm so grateful to have met you and your big hearts two years ago and I'm looking forward to celebrating our friendversary at this year's luncheon on March 13th ☘️⠀

So excited to get behind @authorsuzyzail#giveagirlabook initiative. Books played a big part in my childhood, transporting me to different worlds. Could be the reason, as an adult, I’m always on a plane! As those of you joining me and Suzy will learn on our upcoming women’s trip to Uganda, books are a luxury few girls can afford so when Suzy asked for support of this project in the lead up to International women’s day I was happy to help. If you want to jump on board #giveagirlabook to empower girls in Africa, just drop your pre-loved children’s picture books, novels, dictionaries, history books and atlases (for ages 5-14) to us @executiveedgetravel , suite 8, level 1, 242 Hawthorn rd Caulfield between 9-5 weekdays before March 6 and we’ll get them into the hands of girls who can’t afford to buy their own. #educateagirl#genderequality#empowergirls#travelmyway

On Tuesday 25 February Retreat Day Hospital hosted their Annual Open Day to the public.
Meet the first family we are building a house for this year! 🙌
Fathers: "Mike Hame" (yes he wanted a western name!! ) 24 years of age and he works as a farm hand.
Mum: "Kolarb", 31 years of age, stay at home mum.
Oldest daughters name is "Salsa" 5 years old, going to school.
Youngest child (daughter) "sam Nor" 2 years old.
Aaaand even more exciting, they are located in the same village as the previous 4 houses so it means we will be able to see all of the other families too! This is how they currently live, very small, no protection, and being so close to the ground means during the wet season they are at risk of it floating away!
We are yet to get the money together for this but we are 100% committed now! 🙌🙌🙌 If you want to help out too there is a link in the bio or just contact us!
We can’t wait to see and meet Mike, Kolarb and the kids already! 👌🙏🏽
We used threads mixed with different coloured African wooden beads around different position to come up with a necklace beautiful like this ...send us a DM if you love 💕 this afriacan wooden necklace :

The 2nd in my series on Mental Health in construction. Suicide rates are getting worse in our industry and mental health is spiralling out of control. We will beat this. Talk to people. Be honest and don't be afraid of opening up. It helps, I promise.
Last week, I made time to give back to 3rd year Agriculture students of Makerere University
They wanted to learn about ornamental plants, how to propagate, grow and care for them.
And we obliged with hands on practicals. Each student planted a cacti, succulent and a choice of Bromelia, Episcia or citronella.
It was an honour and a privilege to pass on my knowledge to a younger generation, PS am not ancient yet😉 📞Inbox or WhatsApp on 0773266456 or visit our website www.enidslittletreasures.com for more info. #giveback#gardeningtips#communityservice#communityserviceday#givingback

Meet the team
@faith_the_barnett is One of @eddiestreetcuts volunteers she has been with us from the very beginning. Faith is a passionate and a very talented barber who also does woman's hair. She has a huge heart and is an asset to the Bath ESC team 💙
I joined ESC because I want to help give back to some amazing people who don’t know their worth. Cutting someone’s hair gives time for a real connection with that person and can help restore a sense of dignity. Sometimes they choose to open up and let you into their story. Other times they close their eyes and enjoy someone spending time and care on them. Physical touch can be very healing. It’s an absolute privilege to be involved.
January was a devastating start to the year, with some of the worst bushfires we’ve ever seen causing destruction to a huge portion of our country. We were keen to help where we could, and reached out to some of the dog rescues severely affected by the fires to see what they needed.
Thanks to your support of our food and treats we were able to help rescues struggling due to the effects of the fires, as well as assisting groups as usual with food and monetary donations – we donated a total of 3,080kgs of food, and $9,000 in January, with a further $45,000 going to rescue groups this month through our donation project.
Niks Kats, Sydney Dingo Rescue, Bendigo Animal Welfare, Animal Aid, Friends of Kempsey Pound, SMART Animal Rescue, and Sweet Shepherd Rescue were all affected in one way or another by the fires; be it destruction of property, shelter evacuations, loss of water supply, or an influx of dogs and puppies needing shelter due to changed family circumstances.
We helped them all out with monetary and/or food donations to get them through this particularly difficult time, and we also recognise that no matter what else is happening– day to day rescue doesn’t stop. So we’ve been working with rescue groups as usual to help them feed their dogs nutritious food, and support them with other costs such as training and vet costs. During January we donated 1,012kgs of food across 8 different rescues who took part in food drives with us, and another 468kgs of food to rescues who reached out for help.
It's been a busy start to the year and we couldn’t do any of this without your support – thank you! 🙏🧡
Would you like to give a young performer and opportunity of a life time?
Then now is your chance.
Glasgow Philharmonia SCIO is looking for businesses to sponsor our 36 kids cast to allow the kids an opportunity to perform at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall next February at the established Movies to Musicals show.
The young people will get a 4 day intensive residential course, 5 rehearsals and many other performance opportunities throughout the year!
With your support we can make this happen for as many kids as possible.
I’m always good...My mom never worried about me cause she knew there was nothing I couldn’t handle nothing that could stand in my way and that’s facts🤷🏼♂️
Yea I miss the old days but there was no growth no change and nothing to look forward to💯
I’ve realized that sometimes you just gotta let go of your past in order to create your future🏧

He’s also teamed up with the generous folk at #Rexel Fairfield to donate a ‘Sparky for a Day’ package to our silent auction. Time to get get those electrical jobs done around the house once and for all? Silent auction opens soon! PS Rexel Fairfield sells direct to the public too 👏🏼
I’ve put off putting this post up, because really it seemed a little bit ridiculous to me that amongst the names on the list of @withamrunningclub awards you find my name not once, but twice. Nestled with the names of coaches I admire and respect, runners I will never be as fast as, and runners I’m super proud to run with most weeks in the “fun group”. But really what I’m most proud of is that, actually, at the heart of it, neither of the awards I won were (entirely) for running - who knew you could win running club awards for not running 🤷🏻♀️ But at the AGM last night I picked up the trophies and Dan said that instagram is for bragging so... whilst I’m at it I also got a top 10 finish in the club championship (also mostly for turning up, I win most of my accolades this way....) #runnersofinstagram#running#withamrunningclub#runner#givingback#showingup
It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.....Mother Theresa . . .

It seemed like yesterday when I embarked my journey in Forex Trading, a decision that I never look back.
The business started because traders I met on the social media start asking if I provide this and that services and eventually ask if I coach.
The journey of coaching started 12 years ago, moving into 13 years.
It brought lots of joy, along with other emotions.
On this 1,000posts I did on tradingview I've decided to share the #1000 ideas to you.
There are so many things in life that we take for granted every day. I have realized that it is important to be grateful for everything you have and count your blessings. That way, you will be happier and more than willing to help others be happier as well.
Now, there are millions of children in India who don't have access to basic things like food, water and education. The inability to afford meals causes them to drop out of school. @The Akshaya Patra Foundation has devised a solution to this issue. They are providing mid-day meals at govt schools so that nothing holds these children back from getting the education they deserve.
Currently, Akshaya Patra provides mid-day meals to 1.8 Million+ children across 16K+ govt schools in the country. The cost to provide meals to one student for a whole year is just INR 1100/-. The impact of this NGO has been measured, recognized & awarded by numerous international organisations as well. Thus, we can be assured that the donated amount goes directly to benefit these deserving children. We can even opt to donate towards buying new plates and tumblers for the children (aside from meals). Also, as you may know, by donating a minimum of INR 500 to a recognised charity (like @theakshayapatrafoundation), you get 50% tax exemption on the donated amount. Click here to donate: https://imojo.in/donateakshayapatra160

We went to the hot springs for the first time and it was so beautiful!!!! We have worked so hard to get here and even harder to be able to provide each other with gifts and road trips. I am so thankful for times like these.
1/26/20 marked 3
years of pushing past the limits,
learning, growing, laughing, exploring,
having fun, arguing, reconciling, understanding, meditating,
unconditional love, support, spiritually connecting,
progression, dancing, singing, playing, traveling the world to perform together, interviewing on radio stations, recording in the studio, working through our struggles, coming together through hard times, and helping each other to be the best version of ourselves. It takes dedication, strength, forgiveness, patience, and lots and lots of love to build a lasting and healthy relationship, and I’m blessed I get to do it with YOU.
I am so proud of you and of us!
From homeless and broken to having a home and feeling full. So happy to be where we are today. I’m lucky to have had you by my side through this roller coaster life took us on these past 4 years. You’re my best friend David. You’re my everything. You amaze me every day and I bet you don’t even know it! Your talent makes me beyond proud. You’re so intelligent and freaking ADORABLE!!!! 🤗🤗🤗 I just love you so much baby. 💘
Thank you for loving me with all my flaws on.
