  • Well, it’s been some time since I’ve posted on my personal account.

This is one of the last pictures I took in Jordan and I’s apartment in @wpa_mke 💛

Many of you asked where we went?
.
So I thought I’d give you a little update on what I’ve been up to 😊
.
Jordan and I were unclear if we’d be moving out of state this year. We’re still unclear to be 100% transparent, lol.
.
We’ve learned to embrace the uncertainty.
.
But with the uncertainty cane a really interesting opportunity.... we actually moved in with Jordan’s parents.
.
It’s funny, at 26 turning 27, I never thought I’d be moving in with our parents? 😂
.
But we seized the opportunity to save up as we prepare for whatever the road may be ahead.
.
In this time of suburban life... a bit more quiet and a bit more slow. I’ve started to actually grow as a person... more than I thought I would.
.
I’ve been working out more.
I’ve enjoyed going to bed a bit earlier.
I’ve embraced having LESS to do.
I’ve focused on good, consistent habits.
I’ve packed my lunch every day for work.
I’ve been able to save some money.
And, I’ve become eternally grateful.
.
While @jpfelber and I can’t wait for decisions and certainty...
.
We’ve been having fun in the vague, grey, questionable (and sometimes tough) thing we call...
.
LIFE.
.
.
I look forward to sharing some more outfit posts when the weather gets a bit sunnier out and until then...
.

  • Just remember, working your a** off, does not mean that you have to be miserable doing it. ☝🏼 I think when we want to show that we’re hard workers or we’re accomplishing stuff, we seem to believe that means we have to be: always busy, always on, always working. We forget why we chose this path of dream chasing. We chose it, to create a purposeful, unique, and crazy-fun life worth living. But don’t over-look the simple part of that equation, like spending more time with family and friends, and doing more of what you enjoy and less work. 
The journey is part of the process. I know we have to sustain the beautiful, fun life we want, but you  haveee to do things that make you happy along the way. Otherwise, what’s it all for anyways? No matter how much work you cram in, you just can’t rush the process. So, you might as well enjoy the ride...Just don’t get complacent.

Work hard af - WHEN you’re working. Then, find things that bring you happiness, and make time for them too. And I’d be willing to bet, if you made a little more time for things you enjoy, you’d have a few more reasons to finish up that work you’re procrastinating. 
TLDR - Work super hard, but live a super good life at the same damn time. 😘

  • Just remember, working your a** off, does not mean that you have to be miserable doing it. ☝🏼 I think when we want to show that we’re hard workers or we’re accomplishing stuff, we seem to believe that means we have to be: always busy, always on, always working. We forget why we chose this path of dream chasing. We chose it, to create a purposeful, unique, and crazy-fun life worth living.
