Graffiti Alley in my beautiful city, Baltimore, MD.
I love Baltimore, because there are layers upon layers of stories deep in these old, lovingly constructed architectural pieces of art, softly decaying, or in the rubble of what they once were, brick buildings which echo with generations of voices passing stories down from voice to voice, a steady humm floating above these cobble streets, which to this day echo the footsteps of the most loved and admired American artists, and rebels, and misfits. Every time I return to Baltimore it is like I am returning to the same wall and building upon the mark first painted in the summer of 2008. It is only fitting that my first time feeling comfortable enough to once again be the subject of a photo this year, takes place in an area which so reflects the image of my own soul. I feel thankful for how Me I look and feel in this photo. Here’s to graffiti alley, and the young misfits in their hoodies and their New Balance sneakers, adding their voices and their stories to the story of the greatest city in America. #baltimore#graffiti#graffitialleybaltimore#yesthisisme

“I sometimes have trouble with boxes and definitions. Allow yourself to be all that you are. A universe wrapped inside of skin. Streams of complexity and color. A limitless mosaic flowing outward.”
