👍Most accomplishments of the Corps of Engineers are only possible because we leverage the strengths and capacity of the entire team, even beyond our own district and division boundaries. Disaster response is just one, but probably the most visible, example. Pictured: COL Karl Jansen (Commander, St. Paul District) and COL Rob Clark (Commander, Wilmington District) in the State Emergency Operations Center in Raleigh, N.C. as Hurricane Dorian made its long, circuitous route through our region. Proud to be a member of this incredible #USACE organization! #GreatPeople#GreatTeam#ValueAdded#WorldClass#essayons
Winning is great, sure
But if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a champion and baby we are.
We've been a while together now and had our difficulties. My depression in 2012, my anxiety, HSP, now our infertility. We make a great team after all and support each other no matter what. I truly believe we will get old together and have children some day. Proud to be yours since 2011.
