  • Happy birthday to the great rock musician, guitarist, singer and songwriter Mr. MYLES KENNEDY (Myles Richard Bass) born November 27, 1969, best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Alter Bridge, and as the lead vocalist in guitarist Slash's backing band, known as Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. He began playing the guitar at the age of 15. He began his music career in 1990 as the lead guitarist of the instrumental jazz ensemble Cosmic Dust, with which he released one studio album. His second band, Citizen Swing, released two studio albums before disbanding in 1996. With fellow Citizen Swing member Craig Johnson, Kennedy founded the rock band The Mayfield Four, for which he provided lead vocals and guitar. The band released two studio albums and broke up in 2002. After declining an offer to audition as the lead vocalist of Velvet Revolver, he was asked to join Alter Bridge by Mark Tremonti in late 2003, formally joining in 2004, and he has been with the band ever since. He has released six studio albums with Alter Bridge.
Kennedy, who possesses a four-octave vocal range, has been praised for his ability as a singer. In this video clip Kennedy amazingly performing guitar solo on the song "Blackbird". "Blackbird" is a song by the American rock band Alter Bridge from their album of the same name, which was released on October 8, 2007. 🤘🎸🎤🎂

  • 1964 - Ampeg ET-2 Super Echo Twin. 64 was the year the “British Invasion” kicked guitar and amp production into high gear in the USA, Europe and Japan. AMERICAN tube amps had been very high quality and rather pricey. Companies scrambled to find the sweet spot of lower list prices, attractive features and reliability... and most everything got brighter sounding. Maybe to stop low end from consuming available wattage, bright new amps could be heard more clearly at school dances. Here’s something that could be “new” and a sales hit today: the super Echo Twin. Imagine a warm version of a Princeton with a full 15 Watts. Next to it a Princeton Reverb* with the same wattage and same 12” Jensen AlNiCo speaker (yes, 12”!). Wet/Dry. Now put them in one attractive cabinet with one plug! 30 Watts mono or 15 + 15. Stereo..(that’s loud for 64). Walking into the gig with wet/dry tone up over the drums and just a guitar and cable in the other hand? This seems like a forgotten gem! Let’s see if any comments describe first hand experience with the ET-2! #ampeg 📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻📻 #guitarsOfInstagram #Guitar #gearJunkie #Guitars #guitarCollector #guitarplayer #GuitarJunkie #guitarAddict #guitarporn #amptalk #GuitarNerd #Guitare #guitarra #Guitarre #Gitarr #Gitaar #chitarra #chitarre #Kytara #kytarysk #Kitara #ギター #gearTalk #gearporn #instaguitar

  • Who knows when the good wood era was? 1997-2006? Earlier, later? Well I don't really care. All I know is this one is a KILLER. I always play a guitar unplugged, feel how it resonates, listen to the fundamental sound and character. If it sounds great without an amp it will shine with one. I had the right instincts on this one too. And I am really happy about this remarkable instrument.

  • God, I love this '01 R8. This one is even better than the CC 12 I once owned, and I thought that could never be topped. Wish you guys could play and hear her...

Yeah, so, im launching my vessel into the possible excitin Quest of bringin back our old and now filthy looking 2012's (aka Debuts) filters, yeah, filters of one of the new now sub-Gods named @instagram, man.
This one is NOT the #Nashville one, ladies and gentlemen (oh, gentle Men.....), yet it should.
It should cause of mister I wear my notes on my sleeve, mister see me dancing in heaven keys are my blue-blooded fingers, beat my hat beat my trousers but you can't, mister i'm wearing your smooth night turquoise coffins,
when i caress your spine with my soul
it turns our bed to grey
So we sing our light to it
Feather up my steps
Shoulders unto your hips
I am brown they can tell,
And you, woman, you read my face with so much love,

A white note written onto dark that was ours
that is yours now
You go ahead with the funny faces -
Sir Mister Stevie Ray Vaughn!

Nashville 1987 live - september

  • 1956 - this one I can play! (Well.. I could if I was right handed or put in a temporary nut and flipped the strings.. #leftyproblems)! This is a dreamy workhorse of a Fender Esquire #fenderesquire in that white guard white blonde era that I adore. Beat up enough to play freely. Clean enough to drool over the originality. Chang the rhythm track through a Blackface amp and the twang some melodic phrases and double stops with my Tweed or my AC30. Should make a great recording for posterity! 🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋”Telecasters and Esquires are a true workingman's guitar. They don't sit in closets or under beds, they get played or they get sold to someone who will play them. This one seems to have been unusually well cared or else it was hardly played because it shows almost no player wear at all. Look at the fingerboard...almost no wear (and no dirt). The body is super clean with only a few chips here and there around the edges. Even the color shows almost no fade or mottling that is usual on white guards Esquires and Teles. This one is all original and a great player. The big fat V profile neck is the big attraction in a 56. Yes, the flat pole pickup is gone by then but that neck more than makes up for it. This one has its original ashtray and possibly, the case.” - OK Guitars in Kent CT

  • 1952 - Fender Esquire for #Teletuesday !! Two careful owners in 67 years? This is fun to look at but we know it’s purely a collector’s “museum “ piece I guess. I love refins and beat-up guitars for playing hard with a loud band at a bar in Southern California myself. (Yes I plant a guard in the crowd when I bring vintage stuff. A lot of us do that now) This instrument is very inspiring to look at and imagine however...and that means a lot to me. ⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️⚱️From the seller: “1952 Fender Esquire. A super clean, 100% original Esquire! This fantastic guitar was a one-owner instrument until just a few months ago when it was acquired by a collector, soon finding its way into our shop. These blackguard Esquires are even rarer than their two pickup counterpart, the Telecaster, and this is one of the finest examples we’ve seen! The neck has the perfect medium-chunky C-shaped profile and plays like a dream. Wonderful resonance from the Ash body with tons of sustain. The single flat-pole bridge pickup nails the quintessential blackguard sound and is clear, punchy and powerful with an amazing tone both clean and dirty. A prime collector’s grade blackguard Esquire! Includes original brown “thermometer” hardshell case and “ashtray” bridge cover.” - @emeraldcityguitars 📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺 #guitarsOfInstagram #Guitar #gearJunkie #Guitars #guitarCollector #guitarplayer #GuitarJunkie #guitarAddict #guitarporn #amptalk #GuitarNerd #Guitare #guitarra #Guitarre #Gitarr #Gitaar #chitarra #chitarre #Kytara #kytarysk #Kitara #ギター #gearTalk #gearporn #instaguitar
