As we go through the next couple weeks of transition and beginning a new Gi program at BMMA, We debated whether we should continue to run a Gi program at all. Then we remembered these three ladies, back before we started having Gi. We always had a very active competitive No-Gi program. This picture was taken when we had three ladies competing at a tournament and there weren’t enough women for the gi brackets. Our ladies volunteered even though they’d never worn a Gi, competed in it, or knew how to tie a belt. All three women dominated their brackets! How I'm feeling today... didn't want to get up, headache and no motivation to train.
But I went to the gym and pushed myself.
I had to drop the weight on some exercises as just didn't have the energy but I'm glad I came. Pushing through that barrier is the only way.
Reckon I would have felt worse if I'd stayed in bed.
Here’s some answers to a question I am asked all the time.
WHY DO I NEED TO DRINK WATER??
