  • Hi Deeds, what have you been up too? Well, honestly the last couple days have been no social media, no gym and too much carbs kinda days. And that’s ok.

I feel there is a lot of pressure to make every day a “good” or “productive” day. But reality, life is though sometimes and some days feel like the world is crashing down on you with no way gut.
.
It’s ok to not be ok. To have a bad day.
.
Social media is killing us, everything looking so much better. But you got to know, that all we’re posting is the kinda stuff that we want other people to see. You need to know that we all go through ups and downs, unmotivational days & struggles.
.
Seeing all these posts of people having such a productive or amazing day, makes you wonder why your day isn’t like that.
.
Reality is your day may not be like that and may to be a “productive” kinda day.
.
.
However, having said that, I am a believer that “not everyday is a good day, but there is something good in everyday”.
.
You’ve got to look super hard sometimes but there will be some way you can pull something positive from whatever situation or day you’ve had.

You have your whole life for you and you determine what you do with it and how you will experience your journey. There is no one you can tell you who you are just because you decide for yourself. You make your own choices, you choose your own direction and you determine your own steps.

Think about who you are, think about how your position yourself against others. Think of you qualities and your intentions. See yourself as the person you want to be, without thinking about your status, score, ability or the people around you.

  • If I got $1 every time a guy has told me my legs are huge, I’d be living lavishly. 
To be quite transparent here, I’ve always been insecure about my thicc legs but women like @mirandacohenfit inspire me to lift heavier and heavier. Just waiting on my back to heal so I can pull heavy again

It goes to show that the you shouldn't be worried about the scale, you shouldn't let that control you or control your thoughts
•
The different between these photos is my training and my mindset 🥰
•
I started consistently lifting heavy weights. Lifting weights DOESNT make you look bulky 💪🏻
•
I also stopped obsessing over "that" number, I stopped letting it control me, stopped letting it consume my life. 
It has taken me a loooooong time to accept and understand that I don't need to be a certain weight to be happy with my body. There's no magic weight that makes you happy, you don't just hit that number and then BAM your instantly happy 🚫

instead ; focus on eating nutritious foods that FUEL your body and training that makes you feel HAPPY 💫

I always try to remember that girl on the right. She was so brave to start this journey! She went out of her comfort zone and she was stronger than all her excuses! Fast forward to today, I’m proud of every single step of this journey. Not only is it so important to switch up your fitness when you feel like you’re in a funk, but it’s also so important to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. I never thought I’d be capable of doing something like this, but we are capable of so much more than we know. This class was not only about fitness, but so much more and I encourage more to step out and try that thing they’ve wanted to try for so long. You’ll surprise yourself.
