Who is your fave Avenger? For me, it’s not an easy decision, but I think it has to be Captain America.
Superhero movies all have one thing in common: Wish fulfillment.
They show us the world not as it is, but as we imagine it could be. My favorites are the ones that entertain the courage required to truly follow your own moral compass.
What I love most about Captain America is his unflinching moral center. He has this sort of apolitical adherence to doing what he believes is right. (Kind of like Jon Snow, who is my second favorite GOT character—behind Podrick. Yes, Podrick haha).
It’s why I’m really nervous about the theories that Captain America is going to die in End Game. I will cry. A lot. Lol.

But what if you change the perspective a little bit and look at it as you literally couldn’t see everything you already have / all the potential you have until you rid the bull shit from your life? Too often we let truly meaningless things stop us from reaching our goals ⁉️but why⁉️. If anything/anyone is standing in your way, dude move them 😂 only let people in your life that are riding WITH you not against you. How are you? That’s a question we all reply with “good thanks!” despite actually feeling like a bag of crap or having a serious life situation going on. But we sugarcoat incase we bore others.
I am distinctly average right now. I want to talk about how okay it is to be average.
Every day whether it’s at school, work, in a relationship, business, fitness etc. We are expected to be above average at all times or at least striving to do so.
But if we were all above average 24/7 then surely our bench mark would move and then above average would become average.
There is so much room in this world to celebrate being average. Being average is not a bad thing, it is not negative.
Doing your job, keeping your pets/children alive, sort of keeping on top of the washing up (see sink), not getting rid of the dying flowers in the windowsill because you forgot. THAT’S ALL FINE.
If we were excelling every second of every day we would be exhausted, we wouldn’t have anything else to compare our better days to and also, we are allowed to be average.
We all feel like failures constantly because we aren’t the next Kylie Jenner “self made lol” business mogul, we haven’t broken a sporting world record or become the biggest fashion photographer in the world.
Why should we feel like failures by literally existing and not doing anything bad. If you have managed to keep yourself alive, nourished and moving forwards in life then that is something to be celebrated.
You shouldn’t have to feel like a failure when you AREN’T failing. There’s a big difference between not being where you want to be yet, and failing.
Give yourself a break, slow down, take that guilt free time off, even if it’s just 5 mins. We cannot be succeeding 24/7, be gentle on yourself.

It’s been a good while since I last posted here mainly due to the hustle and bustle of starting a new job in a new city amongst other things, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say that it’s been difficult to keep the momentum that I had in the starting months of this year. That said, I’ve managed to keep on top of things for the most part and not let my hard work from earlier go to waste!
Slightly saddened by the fact that I missed my (66/66) post for #gymshark66 - however, consistent posting isn’t the goal of that challenge (don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to mark the differing chapters of it), the point of it was to make a lifestyle change for the better within that allotted time frame to hopefully carry it onward for the future... I’d say I’m sticking true to those words to this very day! To put it generally, I’ve stuck to a mix of cardio (which is also greatly helped along with my new daily work commute 😂) alongside weight/bodyweight routines.
Life is stabilising once more and momentum is increasing in parallel to it - in the past hectic times have been a showstopper in terms of commitment or progress, not this time; onwards and upwards 😜
