I went years telling myself I didn’t like pasta. So not true! I just associated pasta with weight gain. Let’s think about this whole carbs are bad idea for a minute.
Human beings have been eating carbohydrates since the beginning of time. The human body is designed to use carbohydrates as its main source of energy. Billions of people and societies around the world are eating carbohydrates as their main source of food and somehow managing to live long healthy lives. Carbohydrates are not bad!! You don’t have to cut them out. I get some people have legit medical issues that require certain dietary restrictions. Just make sure you’ve been tested by an actual doctor with an actual degree and they’ve run actual tests. Not just Becky down the street who shook her wind chimes at you and is going to cure all your problems by telling you to stop eating carbs and dairy. 🤦🏼♀️ Then work with a registered dietician to help you.
I get this is scary for some of you! I’ve been there. ❤️So start challenging those thoughts, start looking at how much you are restricting the foods you are afraid of and feel addicted to. Restriction leads to those feelings of addiction. And like always please reach out to a professional if this is overwhelming! So tell me, what’s your favorite carb??????

I’ve talked about the drawbacks of cardio before and have answered questions here and there but I thought it was time to make one big video, explaining why cardio is not ideal for fat loss and addressing all the questions people have in regards to this. This video discusses the following:

DISCLOSER: my legs AREN'T as skinny as they look in this video.
I'm currently experimenting with splitting my legs up into two different days (e.g quads and hams). This allows me to hit my hamstrings SUPER-HARD and then hit my quads with the same exact intensity without the worry of fatigue AKA getting tired and slowing down.
Anyway, this is just a little bit of my training today. I supersetted a reverse hack squat with a unilateral leg press. I ALWAYS like to make sure I get that pump and if anyone tells you the pump isn't important; they're chat sh*t!
Nevertheless, whenever your leg day is, why not give this a go? I personally did 8 sets for squats (always do no matter what) and did only 5 sets on the leg press but everybody's different. Figure what improvements you need to make to Target you weaker areas and absolutely smash it, and make sure you ENJOY it! Leg day is fun, not a nightmare like everyone makes out.
Wanna get that ultimate pump in the gym on arms day? Give this a try: 'SWEET 16's'
it's a great high rep barbell curl exercise which allows you to attack your biceps from multiple angles AND get that MIGHTY pump we're all looking for.
1. Start off with either a barbell or babrbell on the cable machine
2. Begin your curls with a wide grip and do that for 8 reps.
3. Once you've hit your 8 reps, without any rest go into a close grip position and smash out another 8 reps again! (This can also be done the other way around too by starting off with a close-grip and going into a wide-grip etc)
It's a great lil exercise to really help switch up your routine and shock the muscles. Don't forget to really squeeze at the top!
