  • Tula xii has some great inserts to help you reach and maintain your fitness goals. I don't know about you, but I tend to do a better job of eating right and exercising when I write it down and somewhat plan my menu.

There are inserts for tracking your food, planning meals and grocery lists, as well as goal and habit trackers.  Great tools for success!

The inserts are easy to insert, and easy to remove when you are finished using them.

  • For those who really know me, I am a sweet tooth lady. I love my coffee with creamer. The creamier the better. I used to take 5-6 cups of 3n1 coffee (that’s around 800 calories/day). I still do but I limit it to 1 coffee with creamer but using brown sugar. Then when I was in Singapore, since I don’t like the taste of their coffee brands there, I have no choice but to go pure - black coffee with brown sugar. I was there for 3 weeks, it helped me build a habit and I started to love black coffee. 
They always say it takes 21 days to create a habit. It’s true. I did! Flushed out my love for creamy coffee. You can too. And it will save me 200 calories a cup. 
Find a healthy alternative to your unhealthy ones. Doesn’t need to deprive yourself. Switch it up. From white refined sugar to brown sugar. But still keep it in moderation. I also mix my vanilla shake with coffee granules, that way, I can still feel that frappe taste in my mouth, only healthier.

~This year I've taken my health journey and longevity much more serious. Making conscious efforts to feed my mind, move my body, connect with my spirit and nourish all of the above.
~But in the most recent days I've up the game even more. I've made tangible commitments and wellness goals & I don't accept any of my excuses (except complete exhaustion because listening to your body is essential)!
~ I've joined a virtual, but extremely accessible fitness community to help with my consistence & accountability ( @austin_mcguffie #360fitness )
~I've committed to daily yoga-at least once- and daily meditation. Totally not perfect-but the point of goals is to make them attainable but challenging.
~ I've put my family & friends (and myself!) on restriction in terms of accessibility to me and my time. Mon-Fri is my time- to work, hustle, workout, cook, scratch my ass, etc. I'm no longer available to hang on the weekdays-unless we making some money or connections.  Why? Because I'm investing in myself-minding my very important business- and building an empire. Sis got goals. (More on this later)
~ Lasting, I'm conscious about what I put in my body. I used to say "eating healthy is hard". Than I started saying "working out is too much." But now I say, all this shit easy & I'm eager to do the work. I love taking care of my temple & it thanks me daily. Manifest and Affirm.

  • I’ve been trying to make meditation a habit, but it just hasn’t happened. I’m working on shifting my mindset to think about my identity and behaviors that adhere to that identity rather than just forcing myself to stick to certain behaviors. I’m using @james_clear ‘s habit stalking strategy. If you haven’t read #atomichabits you gotta 😎

  • Habit Trackers 📈 I just started using habit trackers in June and it’s going pretty well! These are some of the things I plan on tracking in August. Showering and getting into bed early is a new habit I’ll be focusing on. It has been a MAJOR bad habit for me, especially if I have a lot of stuff to do at night that keeps me up. It’s even worse during the school year when I have late night classes lol 😬 From now on, I’m going to shower by 9:30 pm at the latest! Fingers crossed that I can keep it up! 🤞🏼 •
