SEASON 3 - REVIEW
🔷 This was my favorite season until now because of the development of the characters and the relationships. I loved all the interactions between Connor, Bree and Jess.
🔷 Bree and Kevin remained my favorite characters. After the hard time he went through in Season 2, I enjoyed seeing him more relaxed (although he eventually gets worried about his job location) and in love. I loved that the writers chose Bree's book to start dealing with the past. It was the standout storyline of the season for me. The family meeting was really emotional and made me love even more the O'Briens.
🔷 I loved the strength of Kevin and Sarah's relationship. They are definitely the most stable couple on the show. Jess and David made me happy every time they were on my screen. They are also a stable couple. I loved Bree and Simon together, but they need to have more scenes and really develop a relationship.
🔷 The youngest siblings...Jess had to deal with David's parents (which I don't trust) and with losing her Inn because of a termite infestation. Connor had to deal with his (still tough) relationship with Mick and Danielle reconnecting with her ex-boyfriend. Talking about Danielle, I can't seem to trust her at the moment.
🔷 I liked that Nell got some storylines, the fountain/the mayor and my favorite, the flower competition. But I still need to know more about Dillon O'Malley.
🔷 As much as I appreciate Trace's love for the The Bridge, I was on Mick's side this time. At the end of the day, it's a business, and he wasn't really around because of the tour. I still don't feel invested in the band storyline but I do love the songs. Timeless was my favorite this season.
🔷 I liked that there was some evolution in Thomas and Mick's relationship. The latter spent more time with Megan this season. I enjoyed their scenes, but I'm not sure if I want them together again or just as friends.
🔷 Trace and Abby love each other, but want different things and are at different stages of life. So I don't know if they are the best match for each other anymore.
SEASON 2 - REVIEW
🔷 As much as I loved Season 1, it was more focused on certain characters than others. So I love that the show became more an ensemble in Season 2.
🔷 Kevin and Bree, my favorites, had great storylines. He was dealing with PTSD and figuring out what to do with his life. She reopened her childhood bookstore and started writing her first book.
🔷 Kevin & Sarah and Jess & David were the best developed couples. Two very unique and interesting relationships.
🔷 The little (but significative) development of Jess and Megan's relationship made me emotional. I liked seeing Jess dealing with the success (and failure) of the B&B and Megan deciding her new job.
🔷 Connor is one of the most complex characters on the show and I loved his development this season. I was proud of him when he decided to quit the firm.
🔷 Mick and Thomas's fight for the trust served to explore their dynamic and to identify their different personalities. I liked that Abby wanted to discover what happened between them. She also spent the season worried about Carrie and Caitlyn not adjusting to their new life. This showed her love for her daughters and that they always come first.
🔷 I found Trace's relationship with his father very interesting and I wish it was explored more. Freefall is my favorite song and I hope one day the full version will be released.
🔷 I liked how Nell was used as the sounding board to the other members of the family. But I wish we got more of a storyline for her.
🔷 Bree and Simon were a surprising relationship. Danielle & Connor were okay. And I enjoyed Mick & Megan's friendship.
🔷 Since Abby & Trace got officially together I kinda lost my interest in their relationship. And as much as I liked the songs, I never felt invested in the band/Nashville storyline.

SEASON 1 - REVIEW
🔷 When I first watched Chesapeake Shores what really draw me in was the O'Brien family storyline. All these different characters with complicated relationships but with a lot of love for one another. That's still the biggest reason I love the show.
🔷 Starting with my favorites...Bree was dealing with writer's block and Kevin was struggling after coming back from Afghanistan. The actors delivered great performances.
🔷 Jess's broken relationship with Megan, Connor's (also broken) relationship with both Megan and Mick and Nell's mystery past were some of my favorite storylines.
🔷 I felt bad for Abby because of Wes trying to get Carrie and Caitlyn's custody/the DOJ investigation and for Trace because of the accident/his relationship with his father. Their friendship/romance was very sweet.
🔷 I love Jess and David so much now so I felt weird watching the love triangle between them and Bree. But I have to admit that I was team Bree and David in Season 1.
