Bon week-end mes lucioles 🧚🏼♂️
So here’s the thing. We all tend to paint our pictures before we even really get into what’s going on. We judge people and situations based on what we see from the outside and from what we know, learned or heard. Often times we don’t give people or experiences our time and really miss out. I got a few new tattoos yesterday and one is inspired by an absolute beautiful soul of an Assyrian friend of mine. She’s kind hearted, polite, caring, elegant and smart. She taught me the beauty of her upbringing and what she believes in. That you can “make an eye” on someone with or without intention and that apparently blue eyes are not capable of negativity. When someone commented on my brows coming back ( #trichotillomania ) she would knock on wood quickly to protect me and to her entertainment I adapted that move quickly. Essentially it is like jinxing good stuff to turn bad or wishing bad upon someone else. Learning about these traditions made me see things differently and makes me want to be more aware of my thoughts and words. Positivity is something that won’t harm anyone if they’d practice it a little more, so be positive and mean it. Let go of negativity, grudges or hate. Practice self love and discover happiness within and surrounding you. Be a shining light for yourself and others. Be open to other cultures and people. You might get inspired and find beauty. ✨🙏🏻

Another hand painting!
I find these quite relaxing and I'm slowly getting used to the anatomy of hands.
I really wanted to paint the hand of @alexgaskarth , not only because of his beautiful tattoo, but also as an excuse to finally use this gorgeous bronze metallic paint from @mozartsupplies . I'm still so in love with their metallic aquarell paints, they're one of my favourite art supplies right now!
Whose hand should I paint next?
