I find this quote to be so true and comforting... people rarely admit how many times they’ve tried and failed. The road to becoming a good programmer is a long difficult one...you will have a lot of trial and error stages but in the end it is totally worth it. ⠀

  • ⁣Let’s talk about Logistic Regression ✨⠀

Basically Logistic Regression is used for binary classification. ⠀
⠀
Think about predicting wether it would rain or not, based on the weather condition. By performing categorical classification the output belongs to either of the two classes (1 or 0). ⠀

The two important parts of Logistic Regression are Hypothesis and the Signoid Curve. Using this Hypothesis (wether it would rain or not) we derive the likelihood of the event. Then the data from our hypothesis is fitted into the log function which turns out to be the Sigmoid. Then based on this log function we are then able to determine the category of the class. 🤯 ⠀
