You Have a purpose on this earth don't let no one tell you anything different! God did not randomly decide to create you because he was bored 😐 He created for a purpose. He placed gifts and talents inside of you!! He's a God of Purpose! and until you really connect with him you will not know your purpose on this earth 🌏 Our God is Sovereign!!!🙏🏾🙌🏾 nothing is by accident! You matter! Seek God with your heart mind and soul and he will reveal to you! He's always with you, even through your problems! God loves you!
Let me make something very clear...Change takes time and consistency. These photos are about a year apart. I am stronger now than I have ever been before...and this is just the beginning.
There is no quick fix.
There is no magic supplement or drink.
Seeing true growth & true change takes a long time. You cannot expect to see major changes in the way you look in a week or even a month. I have been at this for 2 and a half years now. So many things about my body have changed since I started lifting consistently.
Sometimes when I’m on Instagram I see people that are just about the same size as me but wayyyyy stronger than me. I start to doubt myself & wonder why I’m not hitting weight at that caliber. I have to remind myself that a lot of these people I’m looking at have been lifting for 3-5 more years than I have. It’s quite reassuring to look back at where I started (strength wise) compared to where I’m at now. Today when I was squatting 225 for 3 singles I had this moment like “wow I can’t wait for the day that I can hit this for 6” and I KNOW that day is coming. Bc I’m gonna stay consistent & im gonna keep pushing myself🙌🏼
I think to be successful at anything you do, you must be consistent. Whether this pertains to the gym, your diet, or your work, being CONSISTENT & PERSISTENT in whatever you do is what will lead you to success.
Our beautiful girl! Here is a few words to describe her. Kind, Confident, Honest, Direct, Hard Working, Rule Follower, Witty, Good Friend, Daring, Silly, Talkative, Shy, committed, common sense, and Loves the Lord with all her heart. She carries many great qualities. Her character and what she stands for isn’t taught in books. When it comes to school and fitting between the lines of what a test score, grades, and performance say you should be compared to a group of other children she struggles. It takes her a little longer. School isn’t her favorite thing! They’re more tears with homework. She has to apply herself harder. She isn’t a child who can just show up and get all A’s. There is extra tutoring, and extra classes at school to help her. This year as we prepared for this moment I sat in tears 😭 as if we had failed her. Did we do something? Why isn’t it easy! Do we work too much? The normal parent guilt! Today I’m excited for her she will be tested for an IEP. She’s completed the physical part and now we’re on to the actual testing. Hoping to get some answers. Me and Thomas both say I think we both needed IEP learning when we were going to school maybe that would have helped us. Parents don’t be embarrassed, don’t feel ashamed, don’t let the fear of judgement of what others will think stop you from taking advantage of the resources out there to help your children succeed.
IEP is an Individualized Education Program, also called the IEP. It’s a document that is developed for each child who needs special education. This could be sensory, visual learners, behavioral, simple but just different approaches of learning what you’re being taught.
The IEP is created through a team effort, reviewed periodically to check your child’s progress. (It’s funded through public schools (TAX Dollars) but you still have access to it at private, and charter schools should they agree to follow the individualized plan. MY RESULTS SO FAR...
So here it is. The big moment. The big reveal. I've been banging on for 12 weeks (a little more now, cause, well, life...) about how amazing The 4321 Method is and how big an impact it is having on my life but what are the numbers??
Just before I get into that I want to clarify that I didn't think I was "big" and I certainly wasn't overweight in January, but I wasn't happy with my body. I was a little "fluffy" and lethargic, and prone to ripping myself to pieces when the mood struck. So I don't share these results or pictures with any intent of making people feel like the "before" picture is a bad place to be in terms of size or body composition. I, having lived in a much bigger body and done a lot of work to get to where I feel good, just didn't feel happy there.
Anyway, to get back to the numbers - in the first 12 weeks on The 4321 Method I have lost 7 inches overall (a little off from all over, except my booty, which got a little bit bigger - ok, only a really tiny bit but you gotta start somewhere) and around 7lbs (3.5kg or 1/2 a stone-ish - I didn't weigh myself when I started, just took pics and measurements, as I had been weighed at the doctors before Xmas and that's the starting weight I used. I may have actully been a few Quality Street heavier than that in reality but you get the general idea). And I'm pretty sure you'll be able to see some differences in the above photos.
Now for what scales, pics and a tape measure can't show. I am so much fitter! And stronger! And way more capable of hard things than I thought I was!
I also now need to throw out nearly all my clothes because nothing fits anymore. Holding off a little though because I know my body and my mind will be changed more by these next 12 weeks, and the 12 weeks after that...
I feel way more positive about my body than I have in longer than I'm happy to admit. And The 4321 Method has been instrumental in that!
People will come and go in life , but the person in the mirror will be there forever: So be good to yourself.
