What a day! Today I signed the papers finally accomplishing a goal I’ve been working so hard to achieve. Something I set out to do early last year and promised myself I would get done before my 29th birthday, I purchased a NEW HOME!
I’m so happy with this decision and so proud that I’ve been able to stick with this goal through all the ups and downs of last year. All the long hours at multiple jobs, loss of friends, missing out on life, failed relationships, and creating new ones. It’s been a roller coaster but I’m so glad to finally be here! Now to enjoy all my hard work!

He was extremely informative, and spent so much time throughly explaining each and every step of the process to make sure I was making the right, informed decision. T-bar rows and almost all row variations, in fact work all the major muscles in your back. This includes your lats, teres major or "little lat," trapezius and erector spinae. T-bar rows also work your shoulders and the pulling muscles in your arms -- biceps, brachialis and brachioradialis. Your abdominals, hamstrings and glutes must also fire to help stabilize your body in the bent-over position as you lift.
There’s a cookie competition on Friday and I had my students research recipes today. They can use the internet or one of the cookbooks I have, which I realize that even 1/3 of my library is still an absurd amount of cookbooks, but I will forever love a paper copy of a cookbook. I do find the internet more useful as far as locating a particular recipe quickly. I have some trusted sites I’ll use often for inspiration. The students found a recipe, converted it to pounds and ounces, calculated the original yield and scaled the recipe up to the desired yield I gave them. NEW MOVES TO TRY😊 | Recently for abs, I have been getting bored with ab workouts. SOOO I researched some moves on the cable machine and I LOVE this movement. You can do this on your knees OR standing up. Right now I am working on my knees on this movement to get better. But daaang I really felt this in my abs as I crunched in. Whoo baby! It’s a good burn. I like to add these two movements together👌🏽
The goal is to have your legs shoulder width apart. Chest up. Hold the rope from the machine near your temple of your head. Arch your back coming up and squeeze those abs as you crunch in. AND BREATHE thru the movement. Give it a try it’s worth it! Day 25: As the month comes to an end this is one of my truest thoughts. Not trying to be a dick here but I have put so much pressure on myself to change my diet as of late and I can’t seem to get there mentally. I have a great support team in place to help me stay on a lifestyle change but I cringe every time it’s mentioned because I know I am not full filling my part. I know it is only me who can heal myself from the inside out in regards to the extra inflammation I endure on my body and the extra stress I put myself through mentally. But remember this people, it is a lot harder then it looks. So if you have someone in your life that has dietary issues tell them how awesome they are restraining all those temptations on a daily basis because in reality it fucking blows. Don’t make them feel like a pain in your ass because you have to eat somewhere or something to accommodate their medical or personal choice because they know what’s best for their physical health because it takes ALOT of self discipline to do this maybe you can learn a thing or two.
