I went skiing today but here’s a throwback SF pic because it’s nearly impossible for me to get a chic photo in my ski gear without looking like the Michelin Man idk how you hot ski bunny bitches do it.
Also bae was skiing while trying to get a video of me because he “wanted me to have something to post today” and wiped out trying to get a perfect angle. If that isn’t true love idk what is :’)

Is a foodgasm a thing? If so, I had one today when I took the first bite of this Linguini with Creamy Alfredo and Mushrooms 💦
To make, I cooked one package of @taste_republic cauliflower linguini and then sautéed 1 cup of sliced portobello mushrooms in evoo on medium heat for 5-6 minutes.
For the Creamy Alfredo Sauce (which can be made vegan), I combined 2 tbsp @fourthandheart garlic ghee (can use butter or more evoo) + 2 tbsp evoo + 1 1/2 cups full fat coconut milk + 1 tsp minced garlic (about 2 cloves) in a medium saucepan on medium heat. When the mixture started to simmer, I reduced the heat to low and added in 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese (you can use nutritional yeast) + 1 tbsp whole wheat flour + 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning + 1/4 tsp salt + 1/4 tsp black pepper. I kept cooking until a creamy sauce had formed (about 5-6 minutes) then blended for half a minute to get any flour clumps out!
Tossed everything together, garnished with curly parsley, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, then devoured 😏

Write them out, talk about how I am going to reach that goal. Go over the ways I am going to deal with struggles I may come along for the next week. & How I’m going to improve once I do hit this goal!! -
I’ve found SOOO much more motivation if I have weekly goals rather than month or yearlong ones. I’m much more likely to reach them!!

🍦Water as soon as I wake up. Im a pretty busy bee & keep putting off my water intake until later on in the day, which leaves me overwhelmed bc I’m really trying to hit 128oz a day. Sooo hopefully starting earlier will help :)

These last few years have been really difficult. It’s been a process. But I’m nearing graduation and to be a strong, independent woman is my goal for 2019 into 2020. I’m finally starting to be happy in my own skin, and I’ve lost so much but have gained so much in return. I’m always seeking to improve and learn. Most of you know I’ve been struggling with some skin issues over the last year and a half or so. It’s been a daunting test in patience, vanity, #selflove , #health , decision-making, belief, and hope...to put it mildly. And I’m reporting in with a C+ average at best, to be honest. The jury is still out on whether or not we’re gonna have to amputate [that’s a wildly inappropriate beheading joke - so I’ll just leave that right there...at your feet]. The reality is; I’m fine. I’ll be fine. I’m lucky, and sometimes you just need to let go and let God - and I did...I’m doing. I just acquired this new headpiece for @thisprincesslife’s #PrincessJasmine costume. I tried it on and immediately took this selfie. Now - this sentiment is for those of you who watched #TheNeverEndingStory for the first time and immediately felt like the weird-a** #ChildlikeEmpress [you know, little whats-her-name] was without a doubt the most beautiful creature you’d ever seen [albeit, still weird]. Cuz she was. And I’m not saying I think I’m the most beautiful creature you’ve ever seen. What I want to say is that this pic, sans makeup and sleep-deprived, is the first time in a very long while that I haven’t agonized over or snapseeded the hell out of unnecessarily. I mean... #yesfilter but - I still feel like I got a piece of me back in this smile captured. And that’s happy. It is my greatest wish that you found some happy in your day today, too. #Youareloved .

So wearing the right size knee sleeves does make a difference. Here’s a single from last week of 415lbs with large size knee sleeves. Here is a single from yesterday with 445 with small size knee sleeves. Knees are feeling much better and squat is feeling solid. Six weeks out from the World Powerlifting games. We recently bought a small farm. OUR DREAM! 4 years ago when we got married I would have said it was a 10 year goal. Here we are 4 years later, Drew watching Turkey and deer out the back door while I cook, then supper on the front porch to watch the sunset and Creede running around (boots only 😂😂) We didn't luck into to, we didn't earn it, we don't deserve it, GOD BLESSED US, and it's His. I don't know all the ways He plans to use it and our family, but I'm praying we are always ready, willing, and grateful.
Alright we got the full workout recorded from shoulders yesterday. Excited to post this as it was a great workout. A few things were posted last time but wanted to show full workout.
1. Dumbbell Shoulder Press: 3 sets x 8-12 reps
2. Dumbbell Front Raise: 3 sets x 12 reps
3. Dumbbell Lateral Raise: 3 sets x 12 reps
4. Bent Over Dumbbell Lateral Raise: 3 sets x 12 reps
5. Arnold Press: 2 sets to Failure (between 6 and 10 reps)
6. Shrugs: 3 sets x 15 reps *hold for 2 seconds at the top*
7. Cable Upright Rows: 2 sets x 12 reps.
Since summer is right around the corner next vid will be a core workout. Expect it to be uploaded tomorrow evening.

It's odd to think that we can do all the right things initially and eventually get to a place where those methods are no longer viable. I have done so much to get to where I am at today, yet, if I were to continue to do those things in the same way, I wouldn't grow. I would only maintain my current state. The point of diminishing return. When you have achieved all you can with your current lifestyle, it's time to change. This game is about growth. We must constantly re-calibrate. What got us to where we are won't get us to where we want to go. If you haven't done shit your whole life and you want some shit, you're gonna have to do some shit. If you have done some good shit, but you want more shit, your gonna have to do more shit. That's the way it works. Re-calibrate, readjust, and execute. *-
