  • NOURISH bowls are my jam🙌🏼 Is it just me, or does anyone else think food just tastes better in a bowl?🌱😋
What I really love about nourish bowls is that you get maximal FLAVOUR and maximal #health for minimal effort. You can mix’n match with whatever different components + ingredients you have on hand or feel like, to make a completely different tasting beautiful bowl each time. Which means I also never get bored of them💫

I have a simple FORMULA for building a bowl:
1️⃣Pick a base of fresh greens ~ lettuce, rocket, spinach, kale...🥬
2️⃣Add a fibre-rich complex carb to make the bowl energising and filling. I love whole grains (quinoa, brown rice, buckwheat etc), Potato or sweet potato 🍠 
3️⃣Add a plant protein source. Think marinated tofu or tempeh, chickpeas, falafel, beans or any leftover dish made with these like Dahl or bean chilli (you don’t have to eat them plain!)⚡️
4️⃣Get creative and colourful with adding a whole lot of veggies in all the rainbow...raw, roasted, steamed, chopped in different ways!
5️⃣Add some healthy fats ~ avocado, tahini dressing, a sprinkle of seeds, dukkha, coconut yoghurt🥑
6️⃣Jazz it all up with flavourings for extra fun! I love salsa, Nutritional yeast, lemon, balsamic or Apple cider vinegar, fresh or dried herbs, mustard, spices...

And there you have it ~ a PERFECT nourish bowl every time🥰 I’d love to know your favourite bowl combos!

P.S. In yesterday’s lunch bowl (and the last meal of the Planting Love Retreat was quinoa tabbouleh, roasted chickpeas, baked cauliflower + zucchini, rocket, purple cabbage, carrot, avocado + salsa. So much goodness, not even mad about eating the leftovers for lunch today + tomorrow⭐️🌈

In other news, I wanted to bring to your attention how important your nutrition is for optimal progress. Food is the fuel that contributes to just about every single function that our bodies go through. It sounds rather cliché, but, you are exactly what you eat. Literally! Your body will go through a complete change within eight or nine years. This means that EVERY single cell in your body would have been replaced. From muscle cells to the cells in your eyeballs – everything will be new. So, over that period of time you can either fuel those new cells with a healthy, highly-nutritious and highly productive diet that is rich in colorful vegetables and foods from the earth... or you can fuel them with a highly processed, highly toxic, unproductive diet that consists of soda, fast food and alcohol.

However, it doesn't need to be so black and white. We should all aim to find a sweet spot that is in line with our goals. Looking at everything in moderation is a very solid philosophy to follow. The problem doesn't lie in having A donut... it lies in having five donuts, twice a day. That beer isn't generally an issue, it's the sixteen beers had every Friday and Saturday night. Everything in moderation my friends 👊🏼

Having leftover baked sweet potato in the fridge today so I decided to make Sweet potato oatmeal, and it turned out greatttttt. It’s so simple, just mashing the leftover and combining it with cooked oats and 1/2 tsp cinnamon ground (optional). And the toppings: sunny-side-up egg, rocket and roasted sesame seed 🤤🤤🤤

It is of no use to you to build a city with insurmountable walls if it was built on a swamp. First ask the necessary questions, seek for understanding and only then build something insurmountable, because only then it is insurmountable.

  • Going to really start focusing on shoulders again. Shoulder presses have been a forgotten movement for me.... still got a set with the 80s for 9 PR and the 70s for 15 PR right after for my top sets. 💪🤘Then just did a bunch of volume with dumbbell laterals. Happy with this workout still! 🙏

  • Dont ever back down, even when life throws you a punch in the face. Get back up and give'm Hell!! Started out with a single leg TRX squat .This movement is the essence of functional, lower-body strength demanding strength, power, stability and balance.
Then moved to  Elevated lunges. They are done in a stationary position so your foot is not hitting the floor with body weight behind it putting pressure on your knees. Lifting and lowering in a stationary position keeps the focus on the squeezing of your glutes and thighs.
Then, next the Barbell Hip Thrust
the hip thrust uses the gluteus maximus (the upper glute muscle), gluteus medius (the lower glute muscle), the quadriceps, and the hamstrings.
As a bonus, hip thrusts also involve the entire core, including the muscles referred to as “stabilizer” muscles that help us keep our balance and keep our spine stable
Then the smith machine squat.
The Smith machine squat is a variation of the squat and an exercise used to build the muscles of the legs. In particular, the Smith machine squat will place a lot of emphasis on the quads. ... You can include the Smith machine squat in your leg workouts or full body workouts.
And on to leg extensions and leg curls.
The leg extension is a resistance weight training exercise that targets the quadriceps muscle in the legs. The exercise is done using a machine called the Leg Extension Machine.
When using either the seated or lying leg curl machine, the muscles on the back of the thigh contract to bend your knee. The hamstrings are made of three muscles: the biceps femoris, the semimembranosus and the semitendinosus.
Then lastly the leg press machine and calf raises on the same machine.
The primary target of the leg press is your quadriceps, Soleus, Gastrocnemius, Gluteus Maximus, Hamstrings and Hip Adductors.
Calf raises are a method of exercising the gastrocnemius, tibialis posterior and soleus muscles of the lower leg.

Thank you for being my mirror 🙏 I appreciate you **"I believe we are moving into a new era of our evolution as humans. 
For thousands of years women for the reason of psychical protection have submitted themselves to mans sovereignty. 
Man has been afraid of the womens power, of them collectively realizing their sovereignty amongst men.
Because if he surrenders in love and humility, he is afraid of losing his power and becoming vulnerable.
But deeply he knows, he isn’t truly evolved without doing so.
The mirroring process of divine balance is happening where more men are surrendering into love and humility, being held by the women.
And more women are stepping into their sovereignty and power, being positivity challenged by real-men.
This is where we are supporting each others evolution. 
If the man can be humble and surrender into love, without losing his sovereignty or masculine power, he becomes the King Archetype.
When the women can step into her power and sovereignty without losing her softness and nurturing femininity, she becomes the Queen Archetype.
This divine union activates the Christ energy of ascension. 
We come into divine balance, and we may ascend into a higher dimension of love and union on this earth plane.
All of our hearts are crying out for this.
Even in the fear and discomfort of this deeply wounded process.
It is anscentral, collective, personal, and deep.
However it’s coming up.
And we must show up for it now, each of us individually.
It is important for men to open their hearts and surrender into love.
It is important for women to step up and own their power along side men.
I have worked with many women, seeking my mirror as a coach to help them step into their sovereignty by getting in touch with their power, their voice and their purpose.
For being a non-romantic mirror that can hold the masculine power of transformation, so that they can expedite their growth and manifest the reality of their hearts."

I love that the only ingredient to the almond butter is just raw almonds. There is no need for added sugar, palm oil, and all that junk; almond butter is SO GOOD just as it is!

  • 1 tbs of organic matcha powder, 1 banana (natural sweetener), 1 cup of soy milk, 1/2 cup of water, and a few ice cubes!

I like to mix the matcha powder and collagen peptides (optional) with 1/4 cup of hot water on the side before putting in the blender so it dissolves well!
  • 1 tbs of organic matcha powder, 1 banana (natural sweetener), 1 cup of soy milk, 1/2 cup of water, and a few ice cubes!
    .
    I like to mix the matcha powder and collagen peptides (optional) with 1/4 cup of hot water on the side before putting in the blender so it dissolves well!

Got up, spit, left glitter on those tracks 
Always been who I’am 
Ain’t gotta put on that mask 
Dust  n Dirt in my hair 
And a sore pinky toe

Sippin pomegranate juice 
Full moon 
Everything’s gonna be alright
Just wait n see
