A NOVA 🍪 Kookie Cat de Amêndoa e Caramelo Salgado! 🤤🤤 Vegan, biológica e sem glúten. Os INGREDIENTES: flocos de aveia sem glúten, amêndoas caramelizadas salgadas (amêndoas, néctar de flor de coco, açúcar de coco e sal), xarope de coco e óleo de coco.
Acompanhada de uma limonada de maçã! 😍🍋🍎 Basta triturar uma maçã, sumo de um limão, um pedaço de gengibre e duas chávenas de água. 😉
Almond and berries green creamy smoothie bowl for this Wednesday morning😊
Filled with a big handful of steamed spinach and kale, a couple of tbsp of @mindfulbitesuk maca and almond nut butter, a tbsp of soaked chia seeds, about 1/2 cup of steamed and frozen courgettes, cinnamon to taste, a couple of heaped tbsp of @macacha_uk vanilla plant based protein peace blend, a tsp of @alchemysuperblends morning elixir, a tsp of @taikitea matcha, almond milk to blend and topped it with berry compote and an extra drizzle of nut butter😍
I had some more strawberries I took home from work and decided to quickly cook them in a splash of water, the juice of half a lemon, a pinch of vanilla and at the end added some dried blueberries. Stirred and cooked until soft and juicy.
It’s like a quick way to make jam if you don’t want to follow a lengthy process like my grandma used to do😉
Which reminds me of a conversation I had yesterday when someone was saying that my grandparents used to eat a bit of everything and they lived a long life so why shouldn’t we eat anything we want and why should we limit the consumption of certain food groups. Even if you don’t share any ethical or environmental beliefs that made you choose to adopt a mainly plant based diet, there is not denying that as the state our environment is right now, we need to change our habits. Yes, my grandparents ate everything but first of all they were lucky enough to grow up in a farm and second they didn’t live most of their lives in a period of time where we are over consuming meat and animal derived products causing so much havoc to the environment. You can take your dietary and lifestyle changes to any degree you like, make small steps, bigger steps, follow your gut and what you feel is right but I truly find it hard to reason with people that keep saying there’s no need or it won’t make a difference. We need to live life now with the future in mind, we got here because of our actions and it’s our actions that will hopefully improve the current situation. What are your thoughts on this?
