Salmon with Creamy Garlic Dijon Sauce: This is such a flavorful, elegant salmon recipe that anyone can pull off. It's comes together so quickly yet it's sure to impress anyone. Pan seared salmon is perfectly delicious on it's own but when you add a bright dijon sauce like this it takes it to a whole new level!

4 (6 - 7 oz) skinless salmon fillets
3 tsp olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced (1 Tbsp)
1/2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 Tbsp dijon mustard (or a little more to taste)
1/2 tsp honey
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 Tbsp minced fresh dill
Instructions
Heat a large non-stick skillets over medium-high heat (or use two skillets if you used large 7 - 8 oz fillets like I did so they aren't overcrowded).
Add 1 1/2 tsp olive oil to each skillet. Dab both sides of salmon dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Place salmon in skillet (top of salmon turned down). Let sear until golden brown on bottom, about 4 minutes then flip and continue to cook to desired doneness, about 2 - 3 minutes longer.
Meanwhile, in a liquid measuring cup whisk together cornstarch with 1 tbsp cream, then mix in enough cream to measure 1/2 cup. Whisk in dijon mustard and honey.
Remove salmon from skillet and transfer to a plate, leaving oil in one skillet. Tent salmon with foil.
Add garlic to skillet with oil set over medium heat, saute until just barely golden brown, about 20 - 30 seconds. Pour in chicken broth.
Bring to a simmer then reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer until reduced by about 2/3, about 3 minutes.
Whisk cream mixture once more then pour into skillet. Cook and stir, bringing to a simmer. Let simmer gently, while stirring, for about 30 seconds.
Remove from heat stir in dill, return salmon fillets to pan, spoon sauce over salmon. Serve warm

Pretty wild that you can eat biscuits while trying to cut, right ? I never knew that was possible. If you would have told me this when I first started trying to lose weight, I would have laughed so hard that I choked on my rice and chicken. ⁣

I cut up the biscuit so that I can smush it all around and have a piece with every bite. ⁣⁣

The base is a turkey- sausage gravy mix & I wish you can smell how good it is. This meal has taken a spot in my top 5 favorite meals from clean eatz. ⁣⁣

3. Sweet and sour chicken⁣⁣

I just realized all my favorites are discontinued and I’m going to go cry in a corner. K, just means I have to order a bunch of these meals and put them in my deep freezer.

Ingredientes:
-1/2tz quinua -2tz agua💧
-1tz leche vegetal🌿
-3cds miel de agave
-3ramitas de canela
-3clavos de olor
-1/2cda extracto de vainilla
-1sobrecito stevia
-Canela en polvo (a tu gusto)
Preparación:📝
1. Poner a hervir en una ollita las 2tazas de agua💧, cuando empieze a hervir echar las ramitas de canela y los clavitos de olor , dejar por unos minutos.🙆
2.Pasado esos minutitos depositar la quinua , dejar cocer pero tener mucho cuidado con que no se seque por completo , es decir , que no absorba todo el agua ( si te pasó esto échale más agüita🤗).
3.Cuando la quinua esté cocida y no tan seca echar la leche 🍶y mezclar , dejar unos minutitos⏰( que no se seque) y agregar la miel,stevia y vainilla , revolver muy muy bien!
4. Dejar unos segunditos y apagar! 👁:No tiene que estar muy seca ni tampoco parecer una sopa, tiene que tener consistencia!💪
Listoooo!! A disfrutaaar! 🍚💕
Este dulce no lleva leche condensada como el original pero su sabor es muuuy parecido y es mejor opción ademaaas😏 si lo metes a la refri y lo dejas enfríar ahí UFFFFF!! 👌🔥

  • This has been a weekend of not so great eating but also a weekend of spending time with my family, we laughed together, exercised together and just made some awesome memories💚

Tomorrow is the start of a new week and I will be restarting my healthy journey again after this weekend I am planning something awesome for my journey as a #projectcomeback because I feel I need to refocus my goals and tell myself exactly what I want to achieve, I want to plan my meals better and definitely continue to run more often🤩

This has to be one of my fav #barguide meals, the tuna greek salad is so easy to prepare and tastes so good too, I can’t wait to start my healthy project with the #bare12wc on the 29th of April☘️my main goals is to enjoy working out and to fix my relationship with food😋I will be writing in my 12 week challenge journal to keep myself accountable and motivated throughout the challenge💚
