Protein pancakes 🥞 💪🏻

INGREDIENTS
* 4 large eggs
* 2 bananas
* 3/4 cup old fashioned oats
* 3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
* 3 Tbsp chocolate protein powder
* 1 tsp ground cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
1. 1. Preheat griddle or skillet to medium heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray
2. 2. Add eggs, bananas, and oats to blender. Blend on low for 15-30 seconds until oats are ground and
3. bananas are fully mashed.
4. 3. Add protein powder, cocoa powder, and cinnamon and blend again on low for additional 30-45
5. seconds until smooth.
6. 4. Drop by 1/3 cup full onto pre-heated griddle and cook until bubbles begin to form and edges are
7. just setting. Flip and cook through, about 2 minutes.
8. 5. Serve immediately topped with fresh strawberries and little powdered sugar, if desired.

* 1 Ripe banana
* 3/4 cup Rolled oats
* 1 Scoop Whey Protein vanilla flavor
* 2 Eggs
* 3 Tbsp Skim or almond milk
* 1 Tsp Baking powder
* 1/2 Tsp Vanilla extract
* 1/2 Cup Fresh blueberries

Instructions
1. Preheat a nonstick griddle over medium heat and coat it with cooking spray.
2. Add all the ingredients except for blueberries to a blender and blend until the oats are ground up and the batter is smooth about 2-3 minutes.

3. Pour the batter into a bowl and gently fold in the blueberries.

4. Place a heaping 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake; cook for approximately 2-3 minutes or until pancake is lightly browned. Flip each pancake and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.

si tienen sugerencia de hora o de tema… díganme aquí. 🧐🧐 ESTA ES LA RECETA PARA LA SALSA BLANCA TIPO BECHAMEL O MORNAY:
Pon 1 1/2 T  de nuez de la india cruda, a remojar por una noche completa o por 40 minutos pero con agua hirviendo.
Licúa la nuez de la india previamente remojada con 1/2 Taza de leche vegetal y 3/4 de Taza de agua 3 Cdas de nooch (levadura nutricional) 
sal, pimienta, 1 cdita de nuez moscada (super importante) , 2 cditas de ajo en polvo y 1 Cda de aceite de oliva (opcional)
Licúa por completisisisisimo hasta que no quede ningún grumito. 
Esta salsa la puedes usar en lasagna, en pasta, en zuchinni noodles, y es DELICIOSA. **como tip para hacerla más cremosa, agreguen MÁS levadura nutricional. The limit does not exist.
Calienten la salsa en una ollita antes de usar para que se reduzca un poco y se vuelva más espesita, si le falta líquido, pueden agregar más agua o incluso un poco de caldo de verduras concentrado.

Grilled Pear Crostinis make an easy appetizer that explode with flavor!! 🤤 ⁣

I N G R E D I E N T S⁣
⁣
* Pears ⁣
* Bread⁣
* Dairy-free Cream Cheese ⁣
* Arugula (or other leafy greens)⁣
* 2 cups Balsamic Vinegar (or pre-made balsamic reduction)⁣
⁣
I N S T R U C T I O N S ⁣
⁣
1. Light a gas grill to medium heat. Cut the pears in half and take out the pit. Option: you can brush the pears with a healthier oil like avocado oil or olive oil, but you don't have to if you'd like to keep it oil free. ⁣
2. Grill the pears flat side down until they're tender and you can see grill marks - about 5 minutes. You can flip them and grill on the skin side if you like. This side only needs a couple of minutes. Take the pears off the grill and set aside until they've cooled enough to slice. You can also toast your bread for a few minutes if you like! ⁣
⁣
To make Balsamic Reduction⁣
3. Add 2 cups of balsamic vinegar to a pot over medium heat and bring to a boil. Once the vinegar is boiling, give it a stir. Keep an eye on it, stirring occasionally until it starts to thicken up. Once it starts to thicken up, turn the heat down to low. Once it's to your desired consistency, remove from heat. If you heat too long, it will become too thick to drizzle. ⁣
Build the crostini ⁣
4. Start to build the crostini by spreading cream cheese on a slice of bread. Then, add the arugula and top with the grilled peaches. Lastly, drizzle the balsamic reduction over each slice. Serve immediately and enjoy!⁣

Note: I didn't add amounts to the pears, bread and cream cheese because you can make as many as you'd like! ⁣

  • Tenhle koláč jsem si pekla už o víkendu ☺️ je to jeden z mých starších receptů, jestli si pamatujete 😌 já vim, že teď cukety už moc nejsou, ale třeba se vám podaří ji někde ještě ukořistit 😜 Tenhle recept je fakt na úplně malou dávku, většinou ho mám tak nadvakrát :) 👇🏽pro připomenutí👇🏽
🥒CUKETOVÝ MAKOVNÍK🥒
📏 Forma- 18 cm
📊 Celý koláč= 472 kcal- 46S- 17T- 21B (na fotce 1/2)
• 125g cukety
• 2 vejce
• 25g jemných ovesných vloček
• 25g rýžové celozrnné mouky
• 35g jablečné přesnídávky
• 10g mletého máku
• 30g čekankového sirupu (jiného sirupu či medu)
• 2 lžičky jedlé sody či kypřícího prášku
• ½ lžičky sušené či čerstvé citrónové kůry
• špetka soli
Postup: Cuketu si nastrouháme NAHRUBO a dáme ji do cedníku okapat. Mezitím si připravíme těsto. Dáme do mísy všechny suché ingredience a promícháme. Poté přidáme zbytek surovin, kromě bílků, a vše ještě jednou pořádně promícháme. Z bílků totiž vyšleháme tuhý sníh a vmícháme opatrně do těsta. Těsto přendáme do formy a pečeme na 160 stupňů 15 minut.

When I first purchased a starter kit I remember feeling overwhelmed with how much there was to learn and not having a clue where to begin but that’s all it takes...just BEGIN.

Estos cupcakes o muffins los hice asi.

4 scoops de avena eso alcanza como para 2, así que si quieren hacer mas, le ponen mayor cantidad, lleva un chorrito de leche de almendras ( en el caso de salvador, como mi hermana aun esta lactando, le ponemos leche materna), una pizca de polvo de hornear, fresas , moras 🍇 y agraz (usen las que el ya haya probado o estén permitidas por el pediatra🍇) y medio banano 🍌 congelado, a salva no le mato el banano como a la tía🙋🏻‍♀️😖😖🤮 ( a mi me aterra), pero en la mezcla realmente no se siente y ayuda a compactar y a darle dulce.

Ponen todo los ingredientes en la licuadora y luego la mezcla en molde de silicona, el horno a 160c por 15 a 20 min (recuerden meterle el cuchillo y si sale limpio ya están).

Aquí estan decorados con yogurt griego con stevia @tierra.poe en este momento salva aun no puede comer hasta el año, pero si tu bebe ya tiene esa edad, es una excelente opción y mermelada sin azúcar (stevia) de frutos rojos, les debo esta receta, es súper fácil 😝😝😝🍓.

  • What’s for breakfast 🥞?! I was walking past a cute little cafe and looked through the plates on a tables... Huge plate of fluffy pancakes with strawberries and cream were looking soooo good!!! Of course I had this quick conversation in my head, if I should stop by and have my treat , in end of the day I should enjoy life , I live once and I deserve it . Plus , I should listen to my inner souls and restrictions only lead you to overeating later 🤔 #emotionaleating ?! Do you know what stopped me from ordering it ?!
A cost : $18 🤑 
It is not that I am going to pay triple price for its cost , but I also will feel guilty and not well nourished after having pancakes made with white flour, sugar , soda and butter 😪 
Solution: I cooked them home. Only took me about 15 mins and 3 ingredients : banana 🍌 + egg 🥚 + peanut 🥜 flour and woala = pancake 🥞 
To make it look good I spread Greek yogurt and topped it with raspberries 🍓

Grand finale: i satisfied my cravings and I ate healthy , delicious and the most important Nutritious meal. Not only I don’t feel guilty , I am very proud of myself 😅

    2. Marinade the pork in caesar salad dressing for a few hours *coat them well*. I add extra garlic because, well come on why not!? ⁣
    3. Toss in powdered parmesan cheese ⁣
    4. Place on a oiled dish.⁣
    5. Bake for 35 minutes at 375°⁣

    • Spring greens and Arugula⁣
    • Capers⁣
    • Yellow peppers cut fine⁣

    BUT it is a low carb meal with all the goodness of home cooked love and loaded with healthy fats. ⁣

Food is a HUGE driver of all things. ⁣
⁣
It’s a celebration, a reward, a punishment, a release, or nourishment and everything in between. ⁣
⁣
Food IS life, made of habits and opportunities that shape our behavior. ⁣
⁣
These habits are so ingrained that we don’t recognize them, so trying to kick ⁣
a habit or overcome a craving can seem like an impossible task sometimes...⁣
⁣
Think back to the last time you told yourself you’d go on a diet during an emotional moment and find yourself eating all the “bad” foods shortly after...⁣
⁣
And it’s not until we take time to understand both the psychological and physiological causes for cravings are we able to take corrective action...⁣
⁣
Just as anywhere else, I’ve found that knowledge is power. ⁣
⁣
I’ve learned SO much about nutrition, emotional triggers and balanced eating over the past year or two, because to me, understanding helps me feel more in control, rather than a victim of random hormonal impulses.⁣
⁣
So when I do find myself at a cross roads with a certain food challenge...I look further and wonder why. ⁣
⁣
You may have a certain food group of your own that stumbles you, or maybe it’s all food and eating in general is your emotional release. ⁣
Whatever it is...knowledge can be powerful. ⁣
⁣

  • My favorite lower sugar granolas

As with most foods, you can make a lower sugar or healthier version at home but who has time for that! Granola can be a super tasty way to mix up a typical snack or breakfast, but it can also cause major spikes in blood sugar leaving you tired and hungry hours later. So, let’s break down the 3 things we need to know when shopping for granola. .
.
✅Paleo/Grain-Free vs Traditional Oat: Paleo granolas are made with nuts, seeds, and usually coconut flakes. They still have added sugars coming from coconut sugar, maple syrup, or honey. Overall, paleo granolas tend to be lower in total carbs and higher in fiber, protein, and fats. However, I did find that @kindsnacks still contains grains while keeping sugar fairly low (5g per ⅓ cup). .

✅Added Sugars: So we know granola is going to have added sugars. That’s part of the fun! It’s a tasty, crunchy, sweet addition to your yogurt, smoothies, whatever!  My criteria when it comes to added sugars is this: ideally only 1 type of added sugar (instead of 3 or 4 like some brands!) and it shouldn’t be the second ingredient. .

✅Best Uses: Keep in mind the serving size for most granolas is ⅓ - ½ cup! For that small volume of food to provide 16-20 g of carbs and 6-10 g of sugar, it’s not going to be the most filling or blood sugar friendly as a stand alone meal of snack. Instead, use the recommended serving size to top your low sugar yogurt (check out my previous post!), smoothie, mixed into a homemade trail mix, or a bowl of berries for a high fiber treat! .
