A remarkable 38 meter high snow sculpture in Changchun city, Jilin Province.
Made using 200,000 cubic meters of snow, the huge work of art is a reproduction of the famous Temple of Heaven.
Located in the southeastern part of Beijing, the Temple of Heaven is a Taoist temple which emperors of the past visited annually to pray for a good harvest.

„Illumination“ - Yosemite National Park, USA 🌌
No matter how crowded this national park sometimes might be, fortunately you still have the nights entirely to yourself 😍 Always worth it to stick around a little bit longer!
Note: this shot was entirely edited with one of my updated ‘Wanderlust’ presets. Go check them out if you haven't done so yet (link‘s in my bio) and don't forget to use the hashtag #MDPfeature for a chance to be featured. ✌🏻

Nothing can stop us now. Despite bad weather conditions we hiked the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. 🥾🌋 To all fans of middle-earth this active volcano is known as Mt. Doom. 😮 #postcardsfromthesearch

We sure glamorize defying gravity. The human body is fine tuned to Earths pull, infact when that changes we'll loose our bone density. We've all experienced adjusting to an environment short term (e.g fingers pruning for grip underwater) but I ponder on the way we would evolve long term. From the simple way your shoulders rest, to the less obvious effects on your calves without the weight they'd normally endure... and right back around to the rather comical fact that we have old mate gravity to thank for holding down all our bodily fluids.
So what's the verdict: gravity or no gravity? Keen to hear your perspectives! -
Fun little shoot out west last eve with a bunch of like minded where I got to try this weightless levitation concept I've been meaning to try for years! If it gets 50 saves I'll show you the before vs after 😏
The Arctic Spirit 💚 There are the days that are very long: you have to get up very early, there's excited dogs to feed and transport, then a huge group of tourists to smile for and guide around the track. Afterwards, the dogs are eager for more food, and you go shopping for your own food. You get home late, open a beer and just feel like getting cozy in the couch and boom! Northern Lights! Then you run outside in pyjamas and start taking pictures instead. That's the Arctic Addiction 😂💚
That is me looking at the Phra Nang Cave and the monkey is looking for his banana. 🍌 I love traveling to Thailand for the nature and wildlife. You have 2 spieces of monkeys on this beach, and at least 3 types of lethal snakes (that I have seen). 😝 #natgeowild
The peaceful sound of silence during a gorgeous golden hour evening along Mount Taranaki. A beautiful moment witnessed that could not be any more perfect.

Young as the morning, old as the sea. Magic is in the air. Watching dawn break in this incredible place is certainly a sight to behold. Who’s interested in a workshop here?

As twilight arrives, a sense of magic fills the air above Owharoa falls. We listened quietly to the lullaby of this soothing waterfall as a rising moon shone down in the most calming and incredible way.

My second photography workshop for 2020 is now live. This April in Autumn, we will embark on a one of a kind mountain photo adventure workshop along our very own Mount Taranaki in New Plymouth.
We will photograph and capture this beautiful mountain in breathtaking scenes over the course of 6 days. From the stunning coastlines where the mountain meets the sea, to glassy lakes in the heart of a wild national park, to the iconic locations that frame this gorgeous mountain and to a variety of unseen perspectives as we drift through the air over this spectacle, we will experience it all.
Mount Taranaki holds a very special place in my heart and I look forward to sharing this with a small group of you in April. Hope to see you there.
