Ingredientes
Para a Massa
370g farinha de trigo
70g mel
100g açúcar
50g manteiga em temperatura ambiente
1 pitada noz moscada
1 pitada cravo em pó
1 pitada canela em pó
1 col (chá) salamoníaco
60mL leite morno
1 col (sopa) de chocolate em pó
1 ovo
Para a Calda
3 col (sopa) leite
1 e 1/2 xíc (cha) açúcar de confeiteiro

Modo de Preparo
Da Massa
1- Num bowl, misture o leite morno com o salamoniaco.
2- Numa tigela, deposite a farinha de trigo, o sal, o açúcar, a canela, a noz moscada, o cravo, o mel, a manteiga, os ovos, o chocolate e misture bem. Acrescente a mistura de leite e sove a massa por uns 10 minutos. Cubra a tigela com um plástico filme e deixe descansar por 2 horas.
3- Passado o tempo, polvilhe farinha de trigo sobre uma bancada e abra um pedaço da massa com um rolo de macarrão. Faça círculos com auxilio de um cortador de biscoitos e disponha as bolachas numa assadeira antiaderente, mantendo espaço entre as bolachas.
4- Leve para assar em forno pré aquecido a 200C por 10 minutos ou até que fiquem moreninhas.
5- Quando estiverem frias, mergulhe as bolachas numa mistura de leite com açúcar de confeiteiro e espere secar para servir.

    Ingredientes
    Para a Massa

  • So tonight I’m sharing my butter chicken recipe which I absolutely adore- originally from a cook book but tweaked over time with my taste. It’s a repost on the picture but I am making this tonight and adding the steps to my story which I’ll pin to a highlight. 
The flavours are so good and it’s such a creamy dish- for those curry lovers that don’t like too much spice or alternatively for those that do, finish with a load of chilli. 
You can swipe ⬅️ for the ingredients I use, and see below for the method:
1. Cut the chicken into strips and add the ground cinnamon, ground cumin, garam, turmeric, lemon juice, yogurt and salt and pepper- leave to marinade for 2hrs minimum, 24hrs preferable. 
2. Add oil to the pan, and add the onion until it starts to soften. 
3. Add you garlic, ginger and chillis cooking for a few minutes before adding the chicken.
4. After the chicken has been cooking for about 10 mins, add the tomato purée and the chicken stock with about 200-240ml water. 
5. You can add butter here too if you wish, I opt not too as I don’t like butter too much.
6. Add some salt and pepper, bring to boil the reduce the heat and let it cook for about 15 mins.
7. Add the creme fraiche, cook for another 5 mins, and then serve up with rice. 
8. I always top with parsley and red chillis.

Este pasado fin de semana la primavera hizo un paréntesis para dar paso al invierno por unos pocos días y, cuando de repente pasamos de sol y calorcito a lluvia y frío, el alma y el cuerpo me pedían a gritos algo reconfortante. Me acompañaba desde el jueves el típico resfriado tonto de los cambios bruscos de temperatura y mi amiga @d.ovickyrios insistió en recordarme lo buena que es la #cebolla en estos casos, así que al segundo recordatorio mi mente hizo el click y al salir el viernes del trabajo hice parada en el super para comprar un kilo generoso de cebolla dulce.

Y es que este invierno, más bien raruno, me dejó con ganas de preparar algún que otro clásico de mis comfort foods y ésta era mi oportunidad perfecta para aprovechar de saciar un antojito.

La sopa de cebolla es un clásico de la cocina francesa, una auténtica delicia que además es realmente fácil de preparar, lo único que requiere es que le dediques un poco de tiempo y te prometo que no te vas a arrepentir.

Necesitas un buen caldo de res. Puede ser un caldo de carne casero pero, si como yo, no te da la vida para ello, al menos asegúrate de comprar un caldo de buena calidad.

En mi caso utilicé:
1 litro de caldo de carne @anetonatural
Aproximadamente 1200 gr. de cebolla dulce
2 cucharadas de mantequilla
1 cucharadita de @bovril
Sal y pimienta al gusto

Para servir:
Rebanadas de pan tostadas con mantequilla
El queso que te guste para gratinar

El procedimiento es muy sencillo: debes cortar la cebolla en juliana del grosor de tu preferencia y pocharla con la mantequilla, la sal y la pimienta a fuego muy muy lento hasta que esté totalmente cristalina y reducida. Añade el caldo y el Bovril y déjalo cocinar al fuego más bajito que tengas revolviendo poco a poco hasta conseguir la consistencia deseada. A mi me gusta que quede un poco grueso, que el caldo y la cebolla sean casi una especie de cremita ligera.

A la hora de emplatar, tuesta con un poco de mantequilla unas rebanadas de un buen pan, colócalas sobre la sopa y cúbrelas con el queso para gratinar en el horno.

Ahora solo deseo que dejes que este plato conquiste todos tus sentidos.

🔘Use 5 pounds of washed red potatoes, chopped, and add to a pot of boiling water. Cook until potatoes are tender. Add back to pot

🔘In a serrate bowl, add 3 cups of mayo, 2 cups chopped pickles, 5 hard-cooked eggs chopped, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped celery, 3 tablespoons mustard, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Stir to combine. Add mix to pot with potatoes and stir in until mixed throughly. Allow to chill for at least 6 hours in refrigerator but it is recommended that you cook potato salad the night before serving. Enjoy! 👅
