We scored a Origo alcohol/electric stove (runs off denatured alcohol OR electricity which is freaking awesome) recently and today we finally finished up the install. Counter space is precious so we opted to build it in to the drawer. Super happy with how it turned out! Can’t wait for our first meal in the bus.

The other day I spent my first night in the moving home with my humans!!! It was SO COOL we were snuggling and playing all the time 😱 we went to a new place and did lots of cool hikes! Humans said I was such a good boy! I sooo love the van more than the house... 🖤 Did you know they let ME sleep IN bed with them all night?!? Never want to leave this van 🖤 📷 @bruceontheroad

Throwback Thursday! The first picture was taken the day we bought the bus. I still can't believe what we've turned it in to! We did every bit of work by ourselves. And Turbo has taken us to 40 states!
What's your favorite place that you have been to?
Spring skiing in California with 19 feet still up at Lassen!! 🎿 In week 38 we skied from Lassen to Tahoe to Mammoth, and we’re finally caught up on the blog! Check out the new post via the link in our bio ✨
Throwback to Skoolie Homes team member, Olu, doing great work on the Brightside Skoolie, removing the screws on the metal tracks with a hole saw bit. Knowing the right tools to use is half the battle! #worksmarter#notharder

“Adventure awaits, go find it”
We fill our packs and spend our weekends roaming the hills and exploring the roads less traveled, covering as many miles as we can on foot.
So much still left to be seen 🚐❤️
Wondering where to go next? Bendalong, NSW, is a quiet hidden gem with well facilitated camping sites and beautiful beaches. Enhance your #Kombilife experience with @vanessamobilcampingaustralia products.
Go on, hit the road, Bendalong is calling.
Somebody wants to give me this Renault Master for nothing. Documents ok, engine ok (with little job), tyres ok, under structure is also good, but a lot of body job... So... Let's go for a double van conversion project ✊
This week we’ve finally had time to work on our RV! In case you missed it, last Wednesday our house went on the market. Within 24 hours we received multiple offers. By Friday, we accepted an offer!!! 🙌🏻 We are in shock with how quickly things are moving along. As long as all goes well, we will be closing on May 20th! 😬
We started removing fixtures, pulls, blinds/valances, and unwanted furniture a couple of days ago. Today our focus has been on tearing out carpet and vinyl flooring. The process takes time since we don’t have tons of hours to dedicate each day... so the next few weeks will have lots of late nights I’m sure! 😴
But I feel like when you give your best “yes” that all the work required is worth it! If you feel like your goals and dreams are too big or too crazy, you’re not alone! But that doesn’t mean they are impossible!!! We are proof of that, and hope our story encourages you in yours! ❤️

We spent Brian’s Birthday afternoon filming a fun new video. We love looking at RVs, even if we aren’t in the market for a new one, and we were able to check out a bunch today.
We have definitely been spoiled by our Grand Design Reflection 312 BHTS - which we ❤️LOVE❤️ - and had a great time checking out a few of Grand Designs other bunkhouse offerings.
Keep an eye out for the next episode of the vlog where we share our thoughts on layout, amenities, and the best tow vehicles for each.

Where's all of our ATVer's? 🏍
True or False? To maintain control and balance when riding an ATV, feet should be: properly placed on the footrest.

Yesterday I picked up a @daggerkayaks Katana and I am IN LOVE 😍 This is a "crossover" boat which means it's been designed to handle up to class 4 rivers, but also be adaptable to flat water and lakes with the use of a drop down Skeg. Within a few minutes paddling around Lake Mead, I was in love with this feature. I could rip down the lake perfectly straight with the skeg down, pull it up, lean left or right, 180 the boat around, drop the skeg again and keep ripping. Or any combination of that. It also has a 300lb capacity, with huge storage in the rear and some in the front which means one could go a couple weeks self sustained on a river. 🤔 This makes up for the sting of the KTM being gone just a bit.
Help us come up with a name for our campervan.⠀
We thought that it best that we get to know each other before we did it, we've given her the placeholder name of Mazda Stuvanski. She is a tough little bugger, I was feeling as though we had made the wrong decision when we broke down on the very first day of the journey, spending our inaugural night broken down on the side of the road in Fortitude Valley, but we had her clutch slave cylinder fixed and she leapt out of the mechanics like a finely tuned racehorse, oh ok, so it was more of a hungover mule but that is far more our style and we love her.⠀
This little van made it across the country via the Barrier Highway, where, even in March it is it still mid summer - 35 degrees+ at 5pm at night, there is zero water around - this is the end of the Darling River system, the end with no water and she was put through her paces by two strangers and their dog, and didn’t she keep up, She is very slow going up hills, the fridge is a bit dodgy, but I think it is because we have been driving through the desert, the water currently isn’t the best tasting, it still carries the remnants of the vinegar and bicarb concoction we used to clean it, the bed is a bit of pain to make up, but oh so comfortable. but she doesn’t leak, she looks gorgeous (don’t you think, even with that funny big nose), the little stove has a grill and it is freakin awesome, Chester feels at home and I think we are beginning to as well⠀
A couple of different places she has taken us these past few weeks⠀
1. Kimba, SA (family photo, I am in the pink)⠀
2 and 3. The Bogan River, NSW (this is actually a place, it's awesome, they have a Giant Bogan)⠀
4. Halfway between Wilcannia and Broken Hill, NSW (where all of the flies live)⠀
A quick list of plans for this faded Queen.. routine engine maintenance, new mattress, reupholster couch in living area, paint all walls a pure white, new countertops (bright white faux marble) new tires and windshield, all new curtains and bedding, then a full tank of gas and she will be hitting the road!
Somebody wants to give me this Renault Master for nothing. Documents ok, engine ok (with little job), tyres ok, under structure is also good, but a lot of body job... Good idea for a van conversion ?
Right before moving to its final rest spot! Good bye, tilt. 👋

My tired face when I wake up in the morning. 🚐😄In the last 2 years, I haven’t spent a lot of money on clothes or unnecessary things in general, because I was focusing on my music projects and travelling more. It is hard sometimes to stay or chill with people who are consuming a lot. But after 2 years on the road with a low budget, I feel like it was the best decision, for myself and for the planet.
