  • Usually, I would not address something like this, but there was an unusual number of people yesterday who were offended by a choice I made, so here it goes.
⠀
I posted a video on my story last night, I fell off. One of those things that is absolutely bound to happen, and I got a good laugh out of it, as I usually do (I thought everyone else might)! Here's the catch; I wasn't wearing a helmet. My decision to not wear a helmet had absolutely nothing to do with how "cool" I might look—I could care less. Poor decision making on my part (I was lazy) and luckily, I was fine and I'm okay enough to actually have a laugh about it. However, one poor lapse in judgement does not fundamentally change me as a person and quite honestly, I don't think I need to explain that. We live and we learn, right?
⠀
Many people will say that you open yourself up to these kinds of things by willingly sharing your life with on a social platform. And while yes, I agree; that IS the way it is, I'm asking why. The world we live in is tough enough and the unwillingness of so many to simply understand that mistakes DO happen, doesn't make it any easier.
⠀
Now, it would be hypocritical of me to sit here and say that everyone should mind their melon—who am I to tell others how to do things? What I can say though, is that I feel very lucky to have landed right on my bum and I personally, will be minding my melon. It's safe to say I got a little too comfortable. Our horses have the best ways of humbling us. 🤍

  • One of the most memorable experiences of my life! Just wondering if the horse felt the same...🤔😅☀️🌾🍂🐎
*
👉lekko do siebie, żeby zwolnił,

1)правильной посадке;
2)взаимодействию и контакту с лошадью;

  • “You need to feel it to heal it”
- Robin Sharma

These few words hold such truth and they resonate with me on such a profound level. Independently of who we are or what we have been through, we need to confront and move through our pain and struggle until we can fully grow beyond it. Healing our wounds doesn’t happen by ignoring or supressing whatever hurts, but by embracing and releasing it. Scared by the suffering we often go around our wounds. Not only do we keep them from others, but maybe even lie about them to ourselves.
Moving through pain and struggle alone can feel immensly hard and almost impossible. It is in out nature to connect to other beings and reach out for support, but in our busy, disconnected lives few of us manage reaching out nor offering sincere presence to someone who is in pain. As a result we hide and cover our vulnerabilites inside where they are left to cause even more trouble - either physically or mentally.
Does this apply to humans only? No. It applies to every living being. We are all in need of being listened to and understood - our horses too - in order to feel, move through and release our pain of the past. In order to heal. Your way, the way of your fellow human being and the way of your horse towards healing is depending upon connection. It is depending sharing whether it be through words, actions or presence and on listening.
Todays call to action: Embrace vulnerability and reach out for someone who are willing to listen. Or be daring enough to offer your presence and sincerity to someone who long for it.
