Esse monumento a céu aberto é uma homenagem aos judeus europeus mortos durante as atrocidades do início do século XX. Ele ocupa um quarteirão inteiro e fica bem ao lado do Portão de Brandemburgo.
Berlim é uma cidade belíssima, mas também é uma cidade de duras memórias. É difícil passar um dia todo lá sem se dar conta do mal que os homens já fizeram a si mesmos. É pesado, mas vale muito a pena conhecer e se aprofundar na história. A ignorância nos mata, mas o conhecimento nos salva.
Here is a series of the cherries in full bloom. I don't know about you but these branches remind me of pink fluffy cotton candies. I guess having cotton candies growing on trees was every child's dream😂

The Holocaust Memorial in Berlin which comprises of 2711 concrete slabs arranged in a grid pattern on a sloping field. It is designed to produce an uneasy, confusing atmosphere, and the whole sculpture aims to represent a supposedly ordered system that has lost touch with human reason.
With beaches like this I don’t need to leave Berlin. 🌅 But I constantly want to see something new; experience, talk, smell and taste other places. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The amazing cherry trees close to Berlin’s Bornholmer Straße. The trees were donated by the people of Japan after the reunification of Germany. They can be found under the Bösebrücke, the site of the first border crossing to be opened during the fall of the Berlin Wall on 9 November 1989.
