4 days out. This is from last nights dress rehearsal...(this is my posing suit, I won't be wearing this on stage). What an experience this whole journey has been. Last night made it actually feel real. Seeing all of the busyness, final preparations and all the other fabulous competitors in their suits and all glammed up is truly inspiring. There is an excitement in the air as most of the team is doing this for the first time. No matter what happens, it has been a huge part of my growth for 2019 and probably life.
Prob gonna post this every time it shows up on my timehop. Especially since most of my clients are dudes now. Gotta remind everyone that I work with the ladies! Had a lot of success at this show and even started the transition for a couple of these ladies to the national level.
For the moms out there who’s been suffering from postpartum depression, truth is there’s going to be times when you feel like eating less, eating more or eating in balanced. .
For some, there’s going to be a time when you have your second child and you haven’t lost the pounds you got from the first one. And you’ve got 2 in 1 postpartum body.
When you’re dreaming to get back the old less fat version of you please don’t hate yourself at times when you reminisce that in front of a mirror.
To the moms who are dreaming small for their size, I want you to have this mindset on your weight loss journey:
“My weight right now is just temporary”….
You may not have your old body back but surely you’ll have a better much sexier one when you have the right mindset, plan and process.
Don’t be afraid of stepping inside of a gym. Your fear and insecurities won’t shred off those extra pounds.
Talk to a person who connects with your story and have someone with you on your journey. That way you feel less alone and the mindset “My weight right now is just temporary” will sink in cause this time it’ll feel possible facing your journey with a friend.

Health and fitness has always been a part of my DNA, growing up around my pops, who was an amateur bodybuilder. So from a young age, i knew it was important to take care of the body. I played college football and thought if I always lifted, i could eat what I want. It wasn't until after college, I was introduced to a nutrition company, that changed my whole perspective. The company really educated me on why it's not about what you eat, its about what you absorb. I felt obligated to spread the word and help people in the gym, and help with their nutrition. I was on my way, when some bumps in the road derailed me from my passion. I became depressed and lost and started to use alcohol and drugs to cover my problems. For 6 years, i lived this lifestyle, and it obviously took a toll on my mental and physical health. One day i looked in the mirror and saw somebody that i have never seen before. I was unhappy and i knew I needed to change the way I was living. I want to thank Jacob Yates for continually annoying me to get back in the gym and pursue my dreams. So I'm excited to say that I just restarted my fitness journey, and in 8 weeks i have seen some amazing results. I have always thought I was put on this Earth, to help people in some way. So Im excited to restart my journey as a personal trainer at Self Made Training Facility in Hilliard. Nothing makes me feel better, than helping people achieve goals they never thought was possible. With me starting training again, my first session is always free! Also, my first couple of clients will get a really nice discount! I have years of experience. Whether you want to build muscle, lose fat, become more explosive, just want to feel better, I can get you to where you need to be! The pic in the bottom left is 2 months ago, I weighed 215 lbs and had 28% body fat, pic in the bottom right is the other day, and I'm down to 205 and 20% body fat.
