When we stayed in Flagstaff after our recent visit to the Grand Canyon it dawned on me that the Sizzler next door was “the sizzler” that we met my Dad after we evacuated Mississippi.
We lost everything-but each other in Hurricane Katrina and we arrived disoriented and homeless from the storm after witnessing devastating loss.
We were changed .
Couldn’t of imagines this view- 14 years later as we explored the area with family this time .
God’s blessings don’t fit in the boxes I’ve made with my expectations.
I continue to learn how to surrender in order to receive the abundance...it makes my tiny boxes of expectations break from the overflow!
Also, this Sizzler is where my sweet grandparents Mica and Micu shared a meal after they came to watch a concert I played in during an orchestra concert at NAU music camp.
