Cómo suelo decirlo a menudo, el secreto está en ver el cambio de hábitos como una elección, de la misma manera en la que te levantas todos los días y cumplido tu horario laboral. De la misma manera cumplir con vos mismo, con los objetivos y con los metas que te pones.

Porque el trabajo es más importante que tú propio bienestar?
Si el trabajo te remunera, pero es tu cuerpo el que te permite ir al trabajo y despertarte todos los dias.
Si falla el cuerpo , no hay repuesto, si fallas en el trabajo, podés conseguir otro.

Este almuerzo, para ser honesta fue hecho en esos días de pereda, realmente no quería cocinar, pero entre comer mal y sentirme poca energía... Decidí cocinar.

  • I've been the WORST about dinnertime lately. I could blame it on summer or kids with broken bones (seriously, could they stop doing that) but really I just fell out of the habit. I'm changing that this fall because fall foods are my favorite and I want to eat all of them ... starting with this Sweet Potato Shepherd's Pie. Seriously, this is WAY better than any shepherd's pie you remember growing up. The sweet potatoes go so well with the filling. I keep trying to have leftovers of this but my family eats it too quickly. Maybe someday. In the meantime, grab the recipe by clicking on the link in our profile.

Got to have brunch with my sister-in-law & niece from Tennessee. We sat to some homemade Indian Naan pizzas that I made with fresh veggies, my homemade pizza sauce & fresh dill. Made some Hummus, a side salad and some fresh fruit. 🌱

  • Savoury monkey bread  is literally a great  idea when having guests over for breakfast! Not only is it a show stopper, but these bite sized  balls of heaven are not only stuffed with cheese, but also are pull-apart and not so messy to eat, perfect for eating while being distracted by all the socialising 😂 .

For the dough

4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup warm milk 
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tbsp sugar
1tsp salt
1 tbsp yeast 
1 cup warm water

Method
Dissolve the yeast and  sugar in the cup of water and leave till foamy

Meanwhile mix the dry ingredients, add olive oil and mix to incorporate.
Add milk and mix
Add the yeast mixture and knead till you have a smooth dough.

Cover with kitchen  towel and keep in a warm place to double in size.

Meanwhile prepare the cheese for stuffing and the wrapping ingredients.

You need
For stuffing: feta, halloumi or nabulsi cheese cubes or a mix of all 
To wrap the ball I used olive oil, palestinian za'tar, toasted sesame seeds, shatta (palestinian chilli paste) and oregano leaves  powder . Place each in a separate plate.

After the dough has risen in the mixing bowl,  Punch it down  to release the gas and start forming small balls .

Flatten each ball and fill  with your cheese of choice. Reform into balls. See photos.

Dip the ball in olive oil then  in za'tar , shatta or any thing you like. See photos.

Place the balls in a bundt cake mold .

Sprinkle with pitted olives and grated mozarella or halloumi cheese. 
Cover with a kitchen towel and leave at room temp for 30 min.

Bake at 350 for anout 30 min. or till golden in color.

Leave to cool down then flipp into the servung platter and decorate with vegetables and greens
