Date in the dunes🌵
Turns out that the largest moving coastal sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere are only two hours away from home.
We took a hazy couple of days to road trip along this stretch of coast. In winter months the sun takes hours to set, so dusk was drawn out over the afternoons ☀️
Also this is one of the first portrait shots taken with our new @sonyaustralia camera, just in time for a @georgescameras comp. #georgessonyportraiture19
It’s my first time visiting #RoyalNationalPark it is so beautiful and it’s such a good place to take a deep breath and escape from the city’s life. Next time, I’m going to trek to Figure 8 pool. There is a lot more to explore. I can’t wait 😊
Also, I haven’t been editing drone video for so long. I have a lot of footage in my hard drive 😅. This time my bf did a great job with helping me editing this video ❤️ #dronephotography#dronevideo#droneshots
Hi friends, Alfie, Monty and I are checking to see how you're all doing. We are all fine and hope you are too. Monty turned 3 a few weeks ago. He had a pupcake which he reluctantly shared with Alfie. Some things never change! Cheers
Feeling like Cathy Freeman! Minus the need to run up thousands of steps😅
The Olympic cauldron of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games! Now it's a fountain standing in Cathy Freeman Park!⛲ And it's so pretty just standing in the middle with the water cascading around you.
I remember being 7yrs old sitting in front of the TV watching the opening ceremony. Leading up to the lighting of the cauldron, to celebrate 100yrs of women participation in Olympics, the final lap was all carried by Australian Women who had all won Olympic medals. With Cathy Freeman being the one to light the cauldron, she ran up flights of stairs (I remember it being so many that I felt tired for her) to this pool of water.
Then, standing in a pool of water with a beautiful waterfall behind her, she had lighted a ring of fire🔥. The ring rose, showing the UFO shaped couldron with the water cascading around her (just like here). And then there was a glitch that seemed like FOREVER, giving it such an awesome suspense that when it started rising again, the crowd roar was just indescribable!
Somehow, I still remember this moment when I bike ride past this!
|| Attention || We live in a world where our attention is fought after relentlessly.
Our built in filter wasn't designed to run 24/7 taxing our minds and leaving us sapped of what little energy we have left.
Patience is the key // So, yesterday was last day of @vividsydney festival and it was my only 1 night when I was free to see it & take some photos. As soon as the lights were on, rain started and I thought that’s it - mission failed! I didn’t want to come back home without anything, so I’ve decided to go to the local shop and buy umbrella to continue my job 📸
Cold weather, wet clothes and dirty equipment but… I’ve got this shot!! What do you guys think about it? Was it worth it? Let me know in comments below 🙌🏻
