  • Misty mornings in Manikaran 😍 This is probably one of my best winters spent in mountains of Himachal Pradesh. I had been planning this trip for about 2 months but it almost didn’t happen due to various reasons.
Until it happened and i was so overjoyed and was looking forward to have a hell of a time wandering in the mountains ⛰ ✨
I had visited Manikaran couple of time during my childhood days with my family but didn’t have much of a memory about it , so as i was planning to go Manali, thought of visiting this place too.
✨

  • Riding a toy train is always fun filled as it brings out the child in you!

During our trip to Ooty we took this train from Conoor to Ooty as it leaves from Conoor at 4 in the evening. The train is perfect for those willing to explore Conoor in a day trip from Ooty and take this train back.

The train travels through lush green forest with views of waterfall and the mountains. The views are so awesome that you end up looking at them without blinking your eyes.

The train has tickets for Second Seating, General Class and First Class and can be booked in advance. The train is also a good option for people willing to travel from Ooty to Conoor in the morning as it starts at 9am in the morning. There are 4 trains which run between these stations each day.

When did you take your last toy train ride?

  • Finally getting back around to sharing my India travels - but it's bittersweet.⁣
⁣
I went to Delhi and around Rajasthan just over a year ago and the political landscape was completely different at the time. As much as I'm proud of my heritage, I in no way support Modi and am really saddened by everything that's going on in India atm.⁣
⁣
I shared my lack of respect for Modi on my story a while back and I had someone tell me I wasn't a 'true Indian'. I am a firm believer that your respect for other people's human rights should always come before any other alliances you may have - cultural or otherwise. ⁣
⁣
In sharing these photos I am in no way ignoring what's going on atm. I treat Instagram like my personal scrapbook, and I just want to share the beautiful places I saw etc. ⁣

  • 🇮🇳 Indian in Los Angeles 🇺🇲 .

I am grounded to my roots, anywhere I go I know where my roots are from cause they are the ones that keep me stable in life. At the same time they give me the strength to open my wings and fly high and explore the things that I haven't experienced yet.
The wings let me see the world with a positive attitude, they give me the belief that everything is possible in life. The things you want for yourself are right in front of you, you have the choice either to open your wings and fly towards them or just sit and watch them pass by.
Life is lived once so don't live a safe life that does not make you happy, live a life where you have taken risks, you have fallen down then got up again just to see what's in store for you.
You are not put on this earth to just settle, we all are travellers who travel through each phase of life, these phases make us stronger so that we can create our own world and be happy in it.
So never forget your roots and let yourself flap your wings so you can actually live the life you dream of.

  • So here it is finally - The Chadar Vlog
My journey of a lifetime experience that I wanted to share with you guys.It all started as a random thought of having some thrill in life and get the checklist ticked. I took this Chadar Trek in Jan 2020 and this being my first solo trip was extremely thrilling and full of adventures. The extreme temperatures of -20 C to -30 C couldn't stop me from enjoying the tranquility and serenity of this beautiful place. Walking on a frozen river for hours and hours made me realize that life is full of surprises and therefore we should enjoy every bit of it.!! Nothing soothes your soul more than travelling and especially solo where you meet beautiful people from different places and make new friends and get to learn so much from them.
I want to thank #thrillophilia for giving such a thrilling experience. Thank you @thrillophila
Also I want to thank all the wonderful people I met during the trip who helped me with these videos and pics without whom it wouldn’t have been possible!! Thank you @iamshashank @sachinverma0005 @nomadicarpit @nadhimahmed and many more 😜
There is so much more to share which I will putting in my blog very soon.
Until then enjoy the video and do let me know how can I improve myself and make better vlogs next time.
Lastly my friend , my editor who has edited this video - Akashdeep Dhariwal , Thank you so much for all the support.

  • Every one of us has a different destination and so the different journey.⁣
⁣
It's not about just making to the destination but it's about how you engulf each ounce of your own journey.⁣
⁣
Life is really short for being just objective orientation and desiring for the view at the end of this journey.⁣
⁣
On every journey, take a look around. No matter if it feels like you're all lost, keep going keep wandering, keep exploring, keep experiencing, keep observing till you reach there.⁣
⁣
Evolve with each step towards it, acquire new thoughts and skills with nature, grow with people you see on the way, focus on inner improvement with each breath.⁣
